I am planning to apply for my parent as visitor. I am doing a job in Scotiabank now. It will be great if you please can tell me the checklist to submit the application and how much fund is required to show in my parent's side and in my side?

hello everyone.
can somebody please help me.... i and my husband we want to sponsor my parents. we will be by end of this year family of 4 and plus my parents (2). so in total 6 persons. for 2014 income requirement for family of 6 is $ 73,072. we are short $3611. is there any way we can get those $3611 missing dollars of one of ours notice of assesment. or if its only missing 3611 dollars they still will aprove sponsorship? i really dont wanna wait till 2019 to sponsor my parents because we are short $3611 that year very sad

connect with your accountant ... he would be able to advise you on this.... better to pay taxes then to wait another 3 years!!!

You can pay additional tax on it and get the accountant to ensure that the total income shows LICO.

CIC goes by assessment notice (or option-c) printouts. I doubt if u can change it to show this. Better luck next year

Parents sponsership joine here January 2011

Hello guys
Am from india and my visa office is new delhi
My brother applied family class sponsership from toronto on jan 31,2015
About 5 years 4 months passed
All documents submited on time and all formalities done properly
Out first medical test exam was don on june 27,2015
And now last month they again requested medical exam on april 21,2016
I want to know when they will request passports
Am totally tired from this long wait
Here is the status of my ecas

STATUS UNDER :-Sponsorship Application Status(DECISION MADE)

1.We received your application to sponsor (FATHER's Name)on January 31, 2011.

Dependents listed on the application are: (Mother's name) and (Dependent children name).

2.We started processing your application on April 1, 2015.

3.We sent you correspondence on June 16, 2015 about the decision on your application.

First medical test is done after this correspondence on june 27, 2015

STATUS UNDER ermanent Residence Application Status(IN PROCESS)


1.We received (Father's Name)application for permanent residence on January 31, 2011.

2.We started processing (Father's name) application on June 29, 2015.

3.Medical results have been received.
(3rd point is updated on may 2,2016 and second medical test are done on april 24,2016)

Please guys tell me when will canadian embassy, new delhi request fir orignal passport or what is next step

Thanks Macintosh for your reply. But there is no data available in that link regarding fund to be show for visitor. There is a navigation that states the mandatory fund to be show for Super Parent Visa.

Hi All!
Is anyone who received sponsorship approval in March 2016 and case transfer to Ottawa office get any update or medical request? Please note i asked about Ottawa office keep in this mind. My account shows Sponsorship "in Process" and my parents PR status shows "Application received" and i received my sponsorship approval in March 2016 but it still shows In process.

Please give anyone who get any update from Ottawa after case transfer to that office in March 2016.

Does anyone know how to get CIC to change the method of correspondence to EMAIL instead of post mail? I provided the EMAIL along with application but so far only mails coming back.

1. Does it mean that its now in the phase of evaluating parents?
2. How long would that take?
3. What is the next step?

It all depends how busy CIC is in Warsaw. But it won't be long, maybe between 1 to 3 months. Then they will ask for medical and police clearance ( if they haven't done it yet). In my case, the file was transferred in Ottawa in April 2016 then I received medical request this June. Did you submit police certificate yet? CIC sends all correspondence to sponsor via email. At least in my case.

in Canada cic only check sponsor's qualifications. rest will be done by the warsaw office. yes now it is next phase of evaluation of documents submitted by ur parents
