Hello Folks

I wanted to know if I met LICO requirements - Can I sponsor two families same time ? i.e. My parents and My In-laws ?

Please share your thoughts on it.

Thank you in advance.
I think you can sponsor only one family at a time
as their can be only one principle applicant at a time..

Hello to all,

We arrived here in Canada September 2011. My Total income for the 2011 assessment naturally will not meet the required income requirements for 2011. I can only satisfy the income requirement starting 2012 up to present. Am I eligible to apply for the 2016 intake come January 2016? The current forms still indicate 2011, 2012 and 2013 incomes for the assessment.

Appreciate any help :)

Yes, you can sponsor two families at a time. How it works is that you will sponsor your own parents and your spouse will sponsor his/her own parents. If your spouse is not working or doesn't meet the LICO requirements then you will co-sign for her/him by signing sponsorship agreement form (as a co-signer/co-sponsor).

That is what we did. My spouse and I sponsored our families at the same time. I did not meet the LICO requirement so my spouse co-signed for me to sponsor my parents and four siblings and also he also sponsored my inlaws.

So YES, you can sponsor two families at the same time..

Hope this helps...
