I would really appreciate your insights on these 2 items -

1. My brother is sponsoring my mom and dad under PGP. They have been to Canada before on a visitor's visa. In filling out form IMM 0008, we are asked for a UCI/Client Id. While we don't know of a previously assigned UCI/Client Id, their visitor's visa shows an 8-digit number, and we were wondering if that is the client id CIC is asking for. Thoughts?

2. Since my brother is sponsoring my parents, and my parents could be moving out of their residence in some time, we were wondering if we could have my brother also be the "representative" for my parents - category : Family/Uncompensated. This way, if CIC sends correspondence - physical or electronic, my brother could respond much sooner than my parents from abroad. Are there any disadvantages, or "don'ts" associated with this? Or in general things to keep in mind?

yes you are absolutely right. Wr were planning to write an application to them but then our status changed to medicals have been recieved thats why we are quite hopeful. You think we should write them just to be on the safe side?

Same in my case. Finally the third line has added: "medicals have been received". Let's see how much to wait further.

Today i rcvd GCMS notes nd they mention Security : screening. Anyone knw whts they chk undr security?

Scnd thing is they mention in
outgoing: request letter
Status : sent

Requested : detailed with the duty of punjab police. Kindly complete the attached form and return same

Incoming: detailed with the duty of punjab police. Kindly complete the attached form and return same.

Created: 2015:07/27
Due date: 2015/09/25

But we didn't receive any letter. wht should we do now???
Please if anyone has any idea rply plz

by looking at your time line, its has been a long waiting time, why the NDVO still didn't give you visa, is anything went wrong, did you contact your MP for inquiry. I think you should do that.

Sent medical on September 2015 status says medical received and
Under Permanent resident status it says decision made
Please advice what next and how long will it take for PPR

Only your spouse/common law partner can co-sign. No one else.

I have done DNA testing for sponsor and parents and the lab in Canada has sent result to both the Embassy and me. So after done DNA testing how long will we expect to get medical request from SVO?

Don't worry, insha Allah ur parents will get PR visa within 2-3 months. chk email n ecas regularly. If all goes smooth and without delay, then they'll either ask current copies of passport or they will directly write u in email tht "ur file is ready for visa issuance ,please follow further according to attached sheet." they'll give u instructions in sheet tht submit ur original passports via vfs global ,thier office are in islamabad,karachi, n lahore.within a week, visa will be stamped on passports n one can collect it from vfs office.

Sponsorship approval: March 2015
Started processing application on July 29, 2015
Medical results have been received
Visa office: Ottawa (as the parent and dependent both are already in CA)

I am hoping to hear back further very soon.
