Thanks again.

After receiving ppr. How much time it will take to get viza stamped and get them back to us.

it too annoying to wait in the ending process. But lets hope for the best and better.

Hello,

I'm have been sponsoring my mother who is illegally staying in the US. It is now at the point where a medical check and additional docs are required by the CIC. I received a letter from CIC requesting for additional documents to be provided to them. One item I'm concerned about in particular:

Authorization to travel: evidence to show that you were legally admitted to the United States for 1 year.

My mom only had a 6 months visitor Visa when she went to the US and has overstayed for close to 20 years now. Question is, will I run into problems with her application if she can't show any evidence of staying in the US for at least a year. In this case, it was only a stamp on her passport that says she was given a 6 months visitor visa to the US.

@Starzibal hey can you tell me what is the time un which we receive our medical? Its been6 months and we are still waiting fir our medical :( office is LVO

what does SA stands for?
our case is 2009 and we received medical request in 2015 so you can do the math as to how long would it take for you to get the medical. I would advise you to order gcms notes and see whats in there.

SA stands for sponcership approval after SA how kuch it takes for medical? And what is GCM notes,

gcms or ATIP notes shows the activity in your file and any special notes the immigration dept. put in. the applicant or your sister can order this by online. just google ATIP you will get the website and there is a video on youtube on how to order/fill the form.
you recently got the SA so I am guess you will still have to wait, it might be a year at least before you receive anything from visa office.

But isnt the time for medical 6-8 months?
