but when we go on website to pay fee they are asking for no. of applications its confusing. can any one suggest how much should pay ? there are 4 members in family like dad, mom,two dependents one is 18 and other is 24. both were under 18 at the time of sponsorship

how much should we pay for right of permanent residence fee? is the amount depends on per application or per person?

$490 per person(adults) and no fee for dependent under 18

hunny007 did you get appointment through email for re-medical.

do one thing instead of wait for their email go to IOM medical centre where you did first medical along with email and passport most probably they will let you talk to doctor. you can tell them they only gave you 7 day for xray and you already late due to EID holiday. hope this will work.

Hi please help me if you know the answer of my question:
The first step of my parents sponsorship was approved and now they asked for additional documents.
They asked for police certificate and other forms .
They come to canada by visitor visa last week. Now they are hear in canada. But for police certificate they should come back to our home country. But they are old. And it is hard for them to travel back again soon .
I have 2 question:
1. Is it possible to send other forms and documents now and later when they come back they send the police certificate?
2. How many days do we have to send them these documents ?

I really need your answer .

You can get police clearance from consulate within canada. I think it was user28 who did entire app while his parents were here

U can attach affidavit as in my case my mothers name spellings in my education certificates are different from our other documents lyk my pp,rashancard ,my bro education certificates so we hd send affidavit on my mom behalf dat both are same persons

you don't need to provide your mother's birth certificate, just your own(the sponsor's) birth certificate showing your parents name. This is to show the sponsor"s relationship to his or her parents.

Hello all,

I am thinking about sponsoring my parents for immigration living in Bangladesh. was reading the link in cic website and have some questions on this:

1. Can I sponsor my parents as I just sponsored my wife and in 5 days will be landing with her in Montreal? I applied outland and am a PR.
2. In the link it says "has now received 5,000 complete applications and the new intake into the PGP program will again pause until next year" so can I apply now and be in the queue or should apply next year; how this works?
3. Someone told me that Immigration has started a new process where if you have 3 yrs of full time permanent job the process is much faster and easy : is it true and is it the same process?
