Hi senior members!!

A quick question!

In background declaration form :-

In personal history and address do we have to also add the time my parents visited my bro in Canada for 6 months on visitors visa?? Do I add that detail in personal history or not!! Or it is valid only for some one who has stayed in a place for more than a year!! ( otherwise wouldn't they ask for PCC form that country)
Plz clarify!!

Urgent!!

Thanks in advance!

Dere s separate form called travel history wch u have to attach along wid it . if they resided dere n canada fr less than 6 months then dere s no need f any pcc frm canada. Bt yes ur district ssp has to mention n ur pcc dat they have visited fr dat specific period. N trave history u have to mention da exact duration f travel

But in the checklist provided now there is no travel history form or travel information required at this stage!! Only generic form , background declaration and additional family information. ???

I need an urgent help. My mom was 17 when she got married and according to india laws she is under age... So the agent who is making the marriage certificate is saying that they should change the year of the marriage... Any suggestions? Is there any other way?
Do anyone has the forms which we filled up in 2010 so I can see that they asked for the marriage date or not?
Thanks in advance

I would not worry because with parental consent marriages where the bride was below 18 were legal.
Please read the following regarding India and marriage age. It will help reassure you and I would not suggest you alter any document on the advice of any person. This is the information I found regarding marriage age in India.

You can get married at 16 with parental consent. 18 with out parental consent. If any partner(s) engages in marriage at a younger age, (s)he can ask for the marriage to be declared void. A recent recommendation by the Law Commission aims to equalize the marriage age for males and females to 18.Official policy automatically declares marriages under 16 as "null and void", while marriages at the age of 16 or 17 are "voidable".

Hope this helps

Thank you so much for your reply.. Its a big relief.. Im gonna let my parents know about this

I live in Toronto, still have not received any note from CIC office regarding additional documents. This cannot be postal delays but something really weird. How many more are there like me who applied in 2010 and have not received any documentation request yet?

isnt mention any date on your email of reassessment because 1st they informs IOM by email then do email to applicant so make-sure about it from IOM helpline they will ask your passport no. and name and will confirm your appointment

how much should we pay for right of permanent residence fee? is the amount depends on per application or per person?
