Hi Deep31, have you also receive/checked your "DECISION MADE" in ecas? Does it have the exact date when they made the decision. Mine don't have, it only says DECISION MADE so we're hoping too for immediate reply to know what is the decision. I think we're going to wait for a normal mail.

Hi Jennelyn P., Yeah our ECAS status changed to "DECISION MADE" yesterday. They normally don't put dates. But because I checked everyday and sometimes multiple times a day, I knew when exactly it changed. There was nothing there on Tuesday night @ 11:30 PM and the first thing in the morning on Wednesday around 7 AM Toronto time. It was decision made. I couldn't believe at first, then checked twice, thrice and finally informed my parents of the decision.

Hey congratulations Deep.
When did your case went in process?
Mine started processing this week after a long time.
And may be our medicals expired this month (Not sure if expired or still valid)
And how much estimated time to decision made after in-process.
Howuch time it took you.

Hi. Speaking of the medical files, are they still going to ask for it. I think ours will expire this September 2014. Hope to hear from them before it expires.

Hey Jassi,
Our case went to "in process" on October 17, 2013
Then after our medical expired on Dec 06, 2013
Re-meds were issued in FEB, 2014 but we missed it because of wrong email address on file.
Submitted remeds on June 12, 2014 when GCMS revealed the issue.
And finally got decision made yesterday on July 30, 2014.
It hope its positive after such long wait.

Anyone heard anything from London Visa office? My file is from 2009

Hi Everyone,

I applied for my parents sponsorship on June 15 2010. Today I received an email from cpc-ctd-ottawa requesting documents for sponsor as well as applicant.

At the time when I applied in June 2010, My 2009 income was $43,500 and 2010 income was $63,300. As per MIR (Minimum income requirement) at that time, it was just LICO $41,198 for family of 2 + 2 (sponsored parents), (total 4) so I just qualified.

Now that MIR requirements has changed ( LICO + 30%), What numbers CIC will look at? Will they process my application according to the numbers in 2010 or todays numbers ? Also, We were 2 in family when we applied and now 4 (have 2 little ones now) + 2 (parents sponsored).

Thanks

They look for 2009 and 2010 income requirements

Hi Everyone,

I applied for my Mom's sponsorship on November 26, 2010. Got a request to submit Option C print outs and other docs. Got the checlist with missing page as well. However, they followed up by the email the next day. I'm confused what years of Option C printout do i need to submit. It says:

"Submit an original Option C Printout for the tax year that you submitted the original sponsorship application AND an original Option C Printout for the year before you submitted the application. The Option C Printout is required for both tax years."

I read it as i need to submit for 2010 and to 2009 and not last years printout (2013) Could you please confirm. Thank you for your time!

Anyone heard anything from London Visa office? My file is from 2009

Hi layla.bee, I posted this on July 24/14 here.

I just received the following email from MP who inquire on my behalf to London visa office, the MP office forwarded the email to me. Now I know what "Put Away" means, looks like we have to wait until 2008 application are finalized.

This is in response to your enquiry regarding the above noted file.
I apologize for the delayed response, which was caused by a clerical error.
Please note that this file is part of a group which has been transferred to London for processing. We have received this file, which now awaits review. We appreciate your patience during this period of transition.

We are making every effort to process files equitably. When we are ready to review this file, we will contact the client with the next steps. Unfortunately, it may be several months before we are able to review this file.

In the meantime, we would appreciate it if your constituent or the principal applicant would wait to hear from us.

Another question, We had 2 newborns added to our family. One in 2011 and one at end of 2012. Do I need to report that to CIC and if I do, Will CIC reassess my financial standing for 2011 and 2012 according to the new LICO numbers or the old numbers (without + 30%).

I am just worried if I will fall below the requirement and cic will reject. It is really confusing and not clear how CIC deals with cases there is new addition to the family and what year's income will be reassessed using and if new or old LICO numbers will be used.

Application was submitted in June 2010.
