Hi there,

I need some advice. I need to sponsor my grandma and my husband is eligible on paper. Can he sponsor my grandma? What is the procedure?

On a side note, best to have a medical of grandma done to determine her health. Get that done so that she can also qualify for supervisa in case you wanna bring her on a visit

My friend got letter today for remedical bt the worst point is letter is already expired letter issued for remedicals on 14th march 2014 they give 30 days for medicals and they also said if the medicals were not done with in 30 days application may be refused.. Bt they got letter on 1 may 2014 ....

Our medical also expired in Dece - 2013. Still we didn't receive re-medical request. How would we know if they have sent re-medical request...?
Our Online status is still "In process"...

just a general query, if you could answer it from your experiece it would be really helpful to me.

my brother filed sponsorship for my parents + sister (less than 22 yrs) in 2009.
file got transferred to New Delhi in May 2013.
In Jan 2014 we got the medical, PCC and other forms done, paid RRPF fee as well.Got further tests for my dad in Feb itself which we got them done in march 2014.
Our ecas status is still 'application received'.

as per the new process being followed, DElhi VO is not askng for Passport at the time of medical request. Instead they are now asking it when all the verfications are done.

now i want to know whats the average time (in months) for getting PPR asuming we sent our complete application package in march 2014. And once you get the letter asking to submit passports, how many days do we generally get to fulfill this request? i want to plan their travel dates accordingly.

Actually I want my family (in india) to visit me in the UK for a couple of months.
I want them to come around June and stay with me till Sep, 14.

Since I have heard that its not a problem to travel outside India in the meantime, could you please guide me on this?

I have seen it takes around 6-7 on an average to get PPR/visa stamped once medical and other forms are submitted. What do you think?

hello, in case my parents file went to in process after 6 months ones their status changed to medical's received. and also from noted their file went to approximately 8 weeks to RFV location but till date there is no news. ( we missed the RPRF fee) so had to pay that later.

Hi just wanting advise from people whose files in Islamabad or generally my parents timeline is as follows:

May 2009 - applied for sponsorship
Additional doc - June 2010
File moved to Islamabad 2013 may
and idk how long will take to get medical i think that's the next process after the file has moved ?? and what is LVO?
my parents moved to Qatar for 6 months as my dad got a job there and apparently we have missed one letter which we got in mail in Pakistan and worried what that letter was for was it an acknowledgement that ur files have moved to islamabad consulate or request for additional documents because it was right after when out documents moved to islamabad consulate. We did try contacting the consulate but no response and does anyone know better way to contact them if we missed a letter?

Ottawa processing is much faster than delhi. Yes u have to submit it n delhi embassy. Bt processing ill takes place n ottawa.gud luck
