There are several lucky people who got the sponsorship approval letters from CPC-M and the latest one was issied to the applicant who sent his package on September 13.

I didn't get the AOR in mail or email and I have sent the docs package on 16 september. Should I wait a little longer or call them ASAP ?

I would wait a bit before contacting them. They will give you the same generic answer that it takes them 10 weeks to process it.

I'm sure you'll get the AOR letter one of these days.

Hello Forum

My parents first medicals were done 11/Aug/2011 which expired 10/Aug/2012 with background checks still pending. Now they went through another medical on 9/April/2013 and by the way of CAIPS notes we came to know that the background checks are still pending. Anybody any advice please. Thanks

hi I am in the same boat my father has two medicals so far & the 2nd one expires by the end of February but I am not gonna take any chances this time we'll wait till January for the visa otherwise we pull the passport out of CHC. my father has a multiple visa until 2018. Screw F#ing CIC.

Were they in Military or Police? Why background checks are taking so long? You should talk to your MP

MP doesn't do anything !!!!! my MP told me to wait 59 months for the visa.

Any possibility that the person who is already in Canada can have their parent sponsorship visa issued in canada without having to leave back to home country? Or has such cases ever occurred and accepted by cic? Anyone any thoughts?

unfortunately you cant change visa offices

Hi

That's right and i know that's very strange.
I sent my application on dec 2010 and Mississauga received it on jan 6 2011.
I got the doc request letter on August 2013.
I got an email for the approval before I got the mailed AOR

I read from another forum which is in Chinese. Two people has the same letter like me. No indication of the local visa office.
The more strange thing. They got an email for medical check after 20 days of sponsorship approval!

Hi VenusChen,

Do you mind to copy and paste your timeline from E-cas?

I cannot understand any of them. They are the same at CPC-M or most VO's across the world. Not following a sequential approach for processing applications. I applied in April 2007, still waiting; and I see that some applications of 2009 have received their PR visas.

i also applied 2007 but still waiting .dont understand cic

During the next election, I will have my day to tell the government how do I feel about 6-7 years processing time.

Have you ordered GCMS notes?

MP's cannot speed up files. ND office is a very very busy office, tons of applications.
You will get it surely, just a matter of time. With CIC you need TONS of patience.

I doubt if anyone at ND has waited 59 months. CIC is giving medicals and visas faster than processing times on website.
So don't get your hopes down, hang in there bud.

I jut can't login to e cas at all
Up to now I just have my uci number which is my pr card umber as well
I tried to use it but can't get in
I called the cic agent
She told me as my step 1 is done. There is no more extra information i can see in Ecas , so don't worry about it
Is that means I will get uci number for my mum later on?
If yes, how?
