Hi Everyone,

Finally, I have received the good news I was waiting for long time.
Today, My e-cas shows "Decision Made" in my case. I hope to receive passports with visa by end of the next week.

It says, "We started processing your application on October 14, 2013". I never saw "In-Process" status. It changed directly from "Application Received" to "Decision Made".
I was checking e-cas almost everyday. Very Happy...

Good Luck to everyone on this forum.

I will update you once I receive passports.

Thanks for your support.
Congrats for DM bro. Good luck

Right!
Its not compulsory as they mentioned.
My friend who's parents already got PR did the same as he submitted the PCC and fee togather as against my another friend who submitted later when they asked during the time of medical request and so it is upto your choice how you would like to go but more importantly if we follow the CPC-M letter where they clearly mentioned that by submitting the PCC and fee earlier will save processing time and so we did!
Now god knows it will happen or not but both the options are open and acceptable based on each individual cases.
My guess is if you have the PCC and FEE ready at the time of submitting the documents then you should submit it at the same time instead of waiting for the another turn as CPC-M give us 90 days enough time to submit the documents but i guess people are considering that statement that whosoever will submit the documents earlier will get the application process faster then other (first come first serve).

Please correct me if i am wrong here.

Thx
upatel

First come first serve not always works. I phoned the CIC this morning. The agent said that everyone's case is individual. They do not always follow that rule of 'first serve'.

Well in my case i have sent all the documents through email to my parents to backhome and they signed the documents plus attached the pcc and latest photos and another necessary documents in a courier which i received it in 3 days from the backhome.
My parents requested the pcc from the backhome town and they received the pcc at backhome in one week.
the whole process took one month and finally i submitted the application on 6th september which CPC-M received it on 9th September.

Applied in Dec 2009 for parents sponsorship at CPC-Mississauga.

I received a letter from CPC-Mississauga last month asking for updated forms and other documents. I have 2 questions:

1- Once I submit the requested documents, how long it could take more for CPC Mississauga to make a decision on my application for sponsorship?

2- Once the application is approved from Canada, and sent to the Visa Office overseas, will I still need to maintain LICO (Low income cut off) in the years to come until the PR application is approved?

Please advice.

So you mean the visa office overseas can request the Option C document as well?

Hey Lionheart ,

What kind of documents did they request you to send ??
Do yo uhave the form numbers , so I can have a look and be ready , I filed for my parents too in mississauga and still waiting ?

Yes, I would think that way too, especially when you mother has permission to stay in Canada for longer than a year... Do you sponsor just you mother or there are dependents on your file too?

Just my parents and no other dependents. I would think our file should be quite straight forward; therefore it should have been forwarded to CPP-O... but no... I'm not sure how they (CPP-M) made their decisions with regards to the office processing the 2nd step...

Are both of your parents with you here in Canada?

What is your visa office?

Your sister is sponsoring 5 of you + 2 (I guess herself and her husband) + 2 her kids = 9 persons.

That according to the current LICO equals $74,192
