Most of times it would mean your medicals are clear.

PP request is all case by case, some people are asked very close to medical request, like I did. Based on average you should be able to get visa in 4-5 months max.

Thank you for your response. I will keep a close eye on the application.

Check the timeline below in my sig, it tells u wait time from meds to pp request for ottawa

Hi Everyone,

Please let me know how much time it takes for New Delhi, once the Ecas system starts showing "In Process".

My Ecas earlier was showing just Application Received.
Medicals done on November 22, 2012
Now it is showing as "In Process" No other details.

How long it may take. Can anybody help?

In the column NOTES; ** Recommended for Waiver*** Received the documents: documents appear satisfactory.

This was updated on March 22, 2013.

Thanks user828! Much appreciated.

Can someone also please advise how CHC-ND is sending the meds request - via email or through snail mail?

I am thinking of getting my parents a super-visa because the processing is taking too long and they are alone in India as the entire family is abroad. Is there any thing I should watch out when applying for super visa for my parents while the application is in process by CHC-ND?

Folks my application to sponsor parents was approved on Jan 10th, 2013 by CPC-Mississauga and transferred to New Delhi. My parents received an email on May 10th acknowledging the receipt of the application from the New Delhi office.

Any ideas when the medicals should arrive now? Seems like it has taken them about 5 months just to acknowledge the application in New Delhi.

Timeline:

Applied Nov 17th, 2009

Approved Jan 10th, 2013
AOR from ND May 10th, 2013
No dependents

Hi:

I have a timeline Oct 26,2009 and my file was transferred in December ot LVO Trinidad and unlike you I have not yet receive any AOR from my visa Office. However someone got request for medical exactly one month after receiving their AOR so give it a month and see before applying for supervisa. I am just like your parents. I am alone here with my only child in Canada. Keep the faith.

Your application date is the cutoff date on the CIC website NOv 17th 2009 which means that they have completed this batch of applicant.

Don't do it if u can avoid it, simply coz u will have to mail the passports to India ( i.e the risk of mailing them ) or have someone take it and then bring it back here and u can land internally

...and to add, ND holds on to the passports for a long, long, really long time. Sometimes, up to a year!
