I had 2 instances where they completely forgot and 2nd time, they said some signature was missing. So unless you query, you wouldn't know
I requested mine on Mar 15, got it in April 15

1st case was horrible as that time it was the paperwork scenario
2nd case was that I used NitroPDF to put electronic sigs and good ole Adobe PDF couldnt read it so they said sigs are missing :-X

Can you add signatures to "protected" documents - like the consent form? I thought protected documents did not allow signatures to be added.

Print the PDF as PDF ( with pdf driver ) > then you can do whatever you like, Nitro PDF was fantastic in inserting text etc, on forms ( which normally don't have text boxes )

I do that too. First add all the fields via Adobe, then print it with CutePDF to another pdf and finally use PDF-XChange viewer. Its very convenient and free :)

thanks for your reply.
i got a mail for medical on my indian address.
Actully we did a enquiry through MP (Canadian). He sent a mail to LVO ND and we got a reply from LVO ND that they all ready sent medical to us in NOV 2012.
But at that time we were in india so we missed that latter . So LVO ND sent medical again on our indian address.

I will suggest to u also please put an enquriy thro' ur MP.

Thanks Sumi i already did MP inquiry in Jan 2013 (ND said my file in line for first review). So that did not help. I will do another one soon.
Question- your e-cas status in Application Received OR In Process?

Hi - We've received information from LVO regarding the incomplete Background Information Form.
They are asking for

“ Personal history: We require details of what you have been doing;
8. During the period XXXXX. Include jobs held, periods of unemployment, periods of study and
any other use of time, such as time spent travelling in search of a country of refuge, stays in hospitals, prisons or
other places of confinement, and periods spent at home as a homemaker. You must not leave gaps.

Does anyone know if we also need to provide information about trips to Canada during retirement? They are not asking for it and I don't want to confuse things. On the other hand, we want to provide everything required....

Thanks for any input!

Odd request but don't confuse it, just put all details of visits to Canada ( Activity: Travel - Vacation ). Also, how back to they want it for?

Here is a sheet I made, you can use this to attach details, its had wider space for explanation and print in landscape mode

Hi User828
They are looking for information back to my mom's 18th birthday! She is in her seventies now. She started travelling to Canada in 1992 - so that would be close to impossible to reconstruct (we are visa exempt). They were happy with the past 10 years we provided (from 2002-2012), where we just indicated "retired" - they are now just asking for the 50 years prior to that. So, I am somewhat reluctant to putting down every trip.
Thanks again....much appreciate your input!
