i am not agree with this check forum member Kp his file transfer to delhi in august with me he got visa in 20 days .so frnd sometime status directly change from application received to deceision made and third line added same day so nobody no what the pattern and how they work yhis is mu experience with new delhi from last 4 year.know your file will go for background check you will have to wait longer due to travel history 10" percent sure

my mother visited canada for 6 months a couple of year ago. is that the kind of travel history that adds to the delay???

I wouldn't worry about that as we had visited for 6 months each year after our application and it made no difference to our application. As long as you say what the travel history is that's OK.

My mom's status still says " We received your application on June 10, 2008" It does not mention about medicals also. I am getting worried now. It will be 3 months in March after the meds have been done and passport sent.

Yes, true - but not many in that case

sometime status still application received and many old case from delhi got visa so never hesitate to check to postman you should start doint it after sending documents to delhi you can check older case on immigration .ca go for new delhi page for parents

I imagine, we should check after decision made. I guess, once everyone gets it, it will be clear how it all works but recently I am seeing this in-process sequence

As long as it is 6 months or less at one time, it shd not delay ur processing. For anythng longer thn six mnths, they sometimes ask for finger prints which definitely adds to the wait

U r right gaggi I hav visited 7counteries & that could b the reason of delay. They have to do security & background check for each place we visited on our passport.
Plus it's a matter of luck too.
Can't get anything more then luck & before the right time.
Just pray and let God worry.
Subbmitting passports after medical was our final job we did...we can only wait now.
I cant even sleep at night...it's stressful.
But anyway I truly wish u all get visa asap.

Hi every one
i submitted my mother medical on september2012 along with landing fee.it is almost 6 month past but no news yet?i have sent them status request but they don't reply.is this a normal processing time?my mother has a valid visa up until 2015.she is in Canada now.does it makes any difference?

Thanks for this information. I was planning to call my parents on super visa. Now i will wait for two more years to finish PR application to avoid any delays.

Hey, my mom was visited me in 2011 for 5 1/2 months. I didn't send any travel history form. I guess it says if more than 6 months, then we need to, m I right?
