btw, question comes to my mind what about Grandparents?

Jason Kenny made big fuss about Grandparents taxing Canada, but I did not saw anyone mentioned sponsoring grandparents? or was it just some excuse by Kenny to block parents's application.

US allows it & process it within 1yr unlike Canada where it is +5yrs.

you got it right. bulk of the sponsorships are for parents. but thats how politics work, wants to get the goodwill of the majority of the Canadians by showing that he cares for their future.

Today I saw my cic After a longtime .My Permanent residence status changed from not available to application received. Do you guys know what does that mean?

For passport request from Ottawa pilot if they give u the option of sending it to high commission or vfs...
Vfs is way faster to get visa
