Oh, it is not this, sorry for being unclear:
The passport is ready to be sent (I assume with visa in it...) , but the return procedure (via FEDEX) cannot be started because of the "wrong" waybill.
I called FEDEX Canada and they gave me a control # , which I must provide to the embassy in order to deblocate the return.

As about timing: My PPR also mentioned 15 businessa days, but I know someone who got it back in only 16 calendar days (on-route time included, back & forth)
Me too, I would have been in this timeframe without this impediment.

Andrei_T, so they are gonna send the PP back in canada or your folks are in Romanai? Which courier did you use? Fedex too?
Hi Kerria,
Did you fix this issue finally? If yes, how. My father file is at Ottawa office but posible to be sent at LVO Bucarest for visa. He is Canada for the next 6 months.

Hi Raja Ji,
The current sort in not very helpful. Can you please sort the spread sheet on "Days Passed since Application". This sort gives insight where my applications stands to cases comparable to my timelines. And if you see that cases above you are moving soon that gives hope.

Thanks
Vik

Hello all,

I have started wondering about passport request. Decision made appeared early Nov but no ppr yet. So i have requested my laywer to inquire Ottawa office about the status. Who knows how long it will take to get the response but i will update you on the response once get it.

I am also starting to wonder for those parents done medicals in Canada, maybe that is the factor for not getting ppr request or slower at least compared to those who had the decision made appeared around same timr as mine like Parkbr's case.

Who knows...

I am just keeping my hopes up.

@ yesOttawa,

My case is slightly different from yours as I received PPR first (On Monday), then my ecas changed to In Progress (On Wed, I think) -> Decision made the next day.

There are couple members whose status changed to Decision Made in August, and their ppr came a month or two later. (I can't recall the nicknames, but I think they were NorthClare and Mockava. - please correct me if I am wrong).

I wish you all the best and hopefully PPR will come soon. I understand how anxious it can be.

@ Andrei_T:
Congratulations!
My parents sent their copy of the passports last Wednesday, so we're still waiting!

Congrats Andrei!

Now my turn to share good news. This morning, I received a passport request for my mom!!! Yay! The only challenge is that it came from the Embassy in Moscow and the passport has to go to the Embassy in Moscow within 30 days. But my mom is here :( Passports cannot be mailed out of Russia. This is the law and nothing can be done about it.

Any thoughts?

By the way, my e-cas still states "Application received."

Gaggidhillon,

Can you please tell me what they wrote in your passport and medical request ??

You know that we got the passport request but not medical request yet??

I just want to know whether they forgot to attach other documents, as I received only one attachment of one page only and it says

"Submit passports of all after Medical done"

Hi pimigration when we sent documents to missisauga i selected type A cuz my brother was only 17 but i sent all supported college certificates etc at the very end of all other forms with a note," if you have any concerns about my brother's education i m sending you his school and college certificates cuz he is studying continuesly"
Pimigration i know we dont have to keep our brothers in school since they were under 22 when we applied but you never know.this is what i will do again when ND LVO ask me for medical and documents. CIC is very unpredictable..... I would suggest to do the same like select type A this time and send them documents+ certificates.

Here is the post by jatt going canada he is a dependant as well under22 at the time of sponsorship...he posted this in may 2012.
They do need to attend school after 22..
in my case and many other people i know they asked for educational docs..wheather or not the dependent was over or not over 22 at time of application.. can show u the letter if u want...
full time educational records prove that the person accompanying is "dependent" on parents

Thanks you very much for your response!!
Just that I said type B in the forms to missisauga!! anyways I will say type A and send all supporting docs

In our case, they did. Our doctor email their London office and suggested that my mom doesn't do another X-Ray. London replied back to her that they will inform the Embassy that no need to do another medical. It happened AFTER we received the request for medical for PR.
