first of all congrats jatt..... n yes we have ordered notes a month back.will be getting them soon.only thing worrying me is ECAS is still apple received

I suggest not to get too worried by looking at the ECAS status. Good news is that people receive PPR request even with "application received" status.

My parents also got their visa fixed on the same day from New Delhi. Now they are buying their tickets and will be here in first week of December. Great holidays this year. @rebel.. dont worry..caips will show a lot of info .. if it shows rprf outstanding on first page.. then fax them receipt..i posted the number few pages back..
@last step expiry is 29 dec ..the day our medicals expire...
you should have submitted new pcc when sending it second time along with medicals..
it happened to a friend of mine too..he had to send a new pcc..and he got visa yesterday..took him like 3 weeks after sending new pcc i think

there is no such thing as renewal.. they just make a new one..
throw money at them and you can get it in 2-3 days ...not a fullproof method though..
getting it signed by ssp or other officer is the difficult part as you know our indian babu's only work when they want ...

It was the same process for many of us but it seems that some are unfortunate and have to submit more paperwork after transfer and that causes the long delays that some on this forum are suffering. To me it seems it should be the same process wherever it is done but maybe it is because of dependents on the applications.

Maybe. I'm a dependent on my application, still everything went rather smoothly. Maybe it's because my VO doesn't have many cases to work on (compared to ND, for example), let alone Parents Sponsorship, in the forum I haven't met anyone and in real life I only met one person with the same case as my family, and theirs was pretty smooth, too.

I don't think it's fair at all. A lot of people here applied even before we did, and they're still waiting for medicals because their VO is clogged with cases ;/

My application at ND is from May 2011 and still waiting.

Sad to hear that Atul :/.. Looking at the speed the ND is working now, i believe u will get the Visa's soon .. Just a little bit of wait is left for u know.. Here we are still waiting for medical request .. Hope to get it soon

I submitted my sponsorship application on Aug 2011, it has been a year, but i don't even have the acknowledgement letter from Immigration Canada yet, any comments on this?
