Re: Medical Question

If have applied PR for my parents and they completed their medical last week. My Mother is the principal appliance and my father is on the application.
My dad underwent surgery for Pancreatic Cancer in December and is doing well now...MRI was done in June and there is no sign of cancer in his body so far.
I have a few questions

1. If my Father fails the medical test, will they refuse VISA for my mother also?
2. If they refuse VISA for my dad, do i have any options to appeal?

1) yes
2) yes

Hi,

Since your father is NOT the principal applicant, they can not refuse visa to your mother.

Yes, you can appeal their decision.

Good Luck,

CONGRATULATIONS to all whose parents got visas! Thanks for sharing. That is a HAPPY NEWS. I am now happy and at the same time insanely jealous. JK.

Again, God bless all of us here with HAPPY NEWS.

And to everyone who feel powerless, angry, bored, scared, you name it...I can not blame you for venting. I know it is harder. We are just applicants, not customers although we spent lots for this. That alone is ... sigh .... Anyway, you are not alone ....

Other than that, let's stay optimistic while waiting. And I know this is easier said than done. So while waiting and regardless of the circumstances, I wish peace of mind (at least) to all of us.

congratulations to KGC and Zameluzza, so happy for you :) andgood luck my fellow memebers will get there soon :)

Good Luck,

Isn't it the same rule for Parents too

http://www.immigration1services.com/engweb/questions4.htm

4.4 Do all my dependents have to take the examination?

All dependents of applicant in the Skilled Worker category, whether accompanying or not, must undergo the examination. If any of them does not pass the medical examination, the whole family will be refused immigration visas.

Guys

Where do you see medical results received status. When I login to E-CAS is shows be the following

Sponsored Person Sponsorship Application Status Permanent Residence Application Status
Paul Ryan Decision Made Application Received

When I click on Application received under Permanent Residence Status I get the following

We received null Paul Ryan's application for permanent residence on May 22, 2008.

Medical results have been received.

Does this mean Medical results have been received and no further tests are required? Do you get the medical results received under the Permanment Residence Application Status or for everybody you have to click on the application received to see this status.

Thanks for your help
