Hello friends!

After 5 months of waiting, I finally received request for medicals. My file was transferred to CPP-Ottawa in March 2012 but then it was lost in back and forth between Mississauga and Ottawa due to some confusion at their end! I have a couple of questions:
1. CPP is asking for Marriage Certificate. Well, my parents don't have one since in 'those' days people didn't have one! Period! Any suggesitons on what to do- Affidavit? Any other thoughts?
1. My father is in India but my mother is in Canada. CIC's letter says that both the spouse/applicant should go to the same DMP. I remember someone on this forum having the same issue. Any idea if the parents can go to different DMPs?

If you could provide some suggestions or direct me to the pages on this forum where this would have been discussed, I would appreciate that. Thanks in advance!

TRICKY, update your timeline with medical date etc in it as well.

Affidavit is the way to go. However, your second Q states that your mother is here but father is in India. Wonder how you can get the affidavit done. Not sure if both parents must sign the affidavit before a lawyer. You may have to check this.

This requirement is applicable when both parents are in the same country. When the parents are in different countries, it is okay to have different DMPs

they can get marriage certificate too... its better than affidavit..
both of them will have to be present and sign in front of registrar..
even for affidavit both must be present ...

Hi to all.my online status show decision made on sponsership part on 9 august 2012.but i recivived no letter then after two week wait i call the cic agent and they confuse me that the file is in process and no letter is sent about decision but my question is then how they update mt status on e. - cas i am worried alot whats going on with me. Plz reply anybody know about it?????

Help please its been 2 months I can't log in o check my file status... I sent the additional document on June 7th 2012
System can't identify me. I used my info to log in that's sponsers info.... no ar yet... they haven't provided me client no. For applicant only have my client I'd no. I was able to check t before not anymore I even called immigration ppl they said the file might be in process... but no definate answer... what could be wrong ?
When I call the no for automated service it says file received on 2nd June 2009
How do I find client I'd for applicant?
Is there anyone else in the same boat
What info u put in after u sent additional document?
Also first part of the initial application I used a rep
But for additional document I did it by myself since he was asking for another 600 dollars so I didn't call him back
He kept harassing my calling me everyday and even shoes up at my home
Could it be him try to make it hard for me since I didn't use him as rep

7. The expiration date of that status

8. Complete address (including the postal code). If the

11. Approximate date that the application was submitted

I guess your application has a decision made on it.Just try to call again.May be your letter ended up with your rep.Ask them.

I want to share my experience with cic agents on 24 august the cic agent says file approved but on 28 august they say last letter was mailed on june 18 about the tax paper which i reply i got it but when i ask about my file decision made on e-cas they say file still in process i dont know whether to trust on e-cas or cic agent

Hi gaggi, when u click on decision made does it tells u if a letter was sent to u r/g the decision on ur application?....It seems like a decision has been made but cic agent might b talking abt PR application which should in process....I advise u to call them back n explain what u were told on 24 aug by an agent....
