i dont think they are going to complete the quata for 2012 (36500) because there is still no improvement and 8th month has been started and only 4 months left and they will not do anything in this four months and backlog remain the same after 2years pause

I agree with you.
my file was transferred in May and i still waiting for AOR :(

Congrats to you and to your parents! Party party!

So your sister applied for sponsorship sometime in 2007. We would love to have some more details of your timeline. We are cheering with you, dags! That is such a great news! I am happy and at the same time insanely jealous, HA-HA.

Please don't leave us hanging, that isn't cool. :(

Just checked Ecas - application for permanent residence has changed to "Decision Made"!!!!
Now need to see where the passport request will come from and how long that takes.
I am my parents' representative and it is my address in Canada they have on file. All previous communication has been by email, but this may be letter?

O WOW Congrats :) you must be over the moon :)
what your timeline?

Oh hi, so "decsion made" before PASSPORT REQUEST...to me that's strange, but anyone can correct me if i am wrong, please do. I am hoping that you got approved, though.

Our case is being processed through Ottawa, so there is no precedent yet.
When clicking on decision made, it indicates that we will be contacted regarding the decision. We know that the medicals are passed and as my parents have no criminal record or security risk I am doubtful that it is a rejection of the application.
I will post once we hear more.

hi northclaire i have one question did ur ecas stated when they starded processing ur aplication after medicals recieved ....
they have a new date on my ecas that they started processing my aplication date/month/2012
did anything like this showed on ur ecas ever if yes pls let us know that will be really helpful

Is it worth it to order file notes if you have sent your docs but no AOR received?

Oh OK well good luck...glad you shared.

P.S....if your parent/s is/are already in Canada, I guess they will just send you guys the COPR; this way facilitates easier, faster, and cheaper processing... I GUESS. Interesting....

Hi nabha
Yes, ecas changed to "we started processing your application on July 6, 2012". Ecas changed to "medicals received" around June 26.
Hope that helps

File number Fxxxxxxxxx

Hi Everyone!
I am new to this forum to post stuff. However, not new to followup/read the threads though. All of you are doing a great job, sharing experiences. :)

I applied for my parents (with two dependents) in Oct, 2007, still waiting for Sponsor approval. :(

I was wondering if any one of you know about a file number that starts with F....
I called CCIS the other day and was provided the new file number. Please advise.

OMG! I just checked ours! Same, decision made! Thanks Northclare, and congrats! Lets see what the letter will bring to us. I am a representative as well. No emails to me, so waiting for snailmail.
