where do you see the address ? when you log in to CIC,
on top it said client applications status, where i see my name and it says current home address which is our canadian home address,
then we have three columns with below
Sponsored Person Sponsorship Application Status Permanent Residence Application Statu
Name of my dad Decision made applications recived
in sponsersip applications sttaus and perment residnence status dosents show any address of my parents, as thats what i put in IMM0008.
the only address i see is my current home address and it was there from long time.
so confuse any help would be great.

What you described above is what I see if I log in with MY UCI. However, I also have a file number for parents (F...) and when I posted earlier I was talking about what I see when I log in with my parents' file # and my dad's name and birth info (as he is the principal applicant). It is there where I used to see their residentiual address (skrewed up a bit) and now see my mailing address (as it is supposed to be as I put my address everywhere as mailing)

Do you have file # for your parent? If you got the approval already, it should have been on the letter I'd think (I got it even earlier via email)

Hi guys
I can access my parents file by using their info and file number but UCI doesn't work.I didn't get any AOR from local visa office so far.May be thats the reason.
I send my rep form with document updates
My parents mailing address is my canadian address.
It is c/O -----my address---

I recently along with documents send my rep form. Now I can see my address as my parents mailing address after C/O.

Where do you see your address after c/o? When you access ecas using your UCI or your parents' UCI or file # (sorry, I did not quite understand what you can and can not access).

I see my address (wtih c/o abbreviation ahead of my name) when I access ecas with my parents' file #

I did not get any AOR from the local office either, it has been 2 months since approval/transfer (but I got the file # from Mississauga communications)

So, looks like from 26/04 until 04/06 (5 weeks) CIC-M worked on your fille and in June made decision. When you noticed that you status has been changed ?

Keep us posted when you will get the letter.

So far, I noticed all my e-cas changes first appeared on Saturday.
These include sponsorship decision made, two lines, medical results received, parents mailing address.

Thanks for clarifying - I understand now (and that is where I see the same, too).
I do not have UCI for my parents so I never tried to access with their UCI (not sure if they have UCI even...They probably do, because they visited many times)

Here's a brief description of what the respective comments mean:

Usually, when medicals are completed (and there are no additional tests), then the only thing that remains is the background/security check. After that, depending on the quota, they request for ppt for the visa to be stamped. Good luck and keep your fingers crossed.

Thank you so much! Hope all will go well....

Welcome to the forum. I've add your timeline to the online spreadsheet. (See the link in the signature section on my post). Use the link on your signature too. Update the sheet as and when you receive information from CIC so that it is shared with all the members and we get an idea of the process that CIC follows.

If you make any updates to the sheet, do not forget to go through the remarks on the top row of the sheet!

Thanks and join the waiting game!

wow! great job with the spreadsheet...hoping that everyone gets to have "landed" status in the end...good luck to all of us :)

Parents do have UCI even if they have never visited Canada before (like my parents). You can find their UCI on the medical forms received from CIC.

Yes, I know ...I just have not yet received any further communications from LVO or Ottawa (no AOR, no meds request yet :-( )
But it is not an issue as i can check the status by their application file # anyway

I guess UCI would also show up in GCMS notes (which I have yet to request :) - procrastinations, other things to do, etc...)

/c o and then my address means you are rep. for your parents file, and all communication will be done with you....that's my understanding. in my case also it shows c/o and then my name and address
