Hi everyone. Im waiting for my moms medical. Im just wondering if where theyre going to mail it out? In my address? (sponsor) or my mom's address?? are they going to send it by mail? or email?? my file was transferred to CPP-O and im thinking what to expect next.. Does the medical form included in the mail or email? thank you very much and I hope everybody good news..

I think from previous member medical from ottawa we learn that it was e-mail the medical letter and attach the forms in e-mail if u provided. Your e-mail id.what i think and saw you will get soon

today i got a lettero of the approval from CIC , step 1 officially was accomplished ,

Our file has been transfered to LVO in PARIS. on the 3rd of MAY.
there is nothing new about ECAS since last April decision made status update .
I checked the processing time line on the website still the old one , for local visa offices which has indicated "26 months for Paris office"
I am kind of worried coz i am dependent & i am supposed to graduate on August 2013 . So i need my application to be finished before that!

I knew lately that CIC has increased thr Quota for FAM by 60% for 2012-2013 , to become 25000 each year instead of 15000 ... I i read in website "sposor ur parent .com" by this Increase they are expected to have all the already accumulated 2007-2006 local visa office apps.+the 2008 newly accepted apps . to be finished & processed by 2013.
However , i am worried that they might just dedicate this newly assigned Quota to Ottawa Pilot office , & other offices remains with the same previously assigned Quota ..it would just seem a bit unfair 4 us "most of dependent including files are being currently transferred to LVO ...

I called CIC today and as they said to me last time they have sent additional documents request for the application received no later than Nov 17, 2009. and he added that the next batch will be in three to four months.

That means who applied before Nov 17, 2009 got a letter requesting additional documents.

Now wait begins for acknowledgement/approval/transfer of the case.
We have requested Paris as the LVO as parents are there for work, etc and have residency. Hopefully CIC will send to Paris and not to origin country.


Any ideas how long it is taking these days for CPC-M to respond after they get the documents?

In my case, it took them three months to confirm that they have received my doucments.

well your timeline is exactly same as mine ...i also recieved documents update on 30th march and i am going to sent them documents in 3 to 4 days and then the waiting time begins lets see i have heard it would take 6 to 18 months from now onwards...

This morning i checked eCas and it is working for me. It now shows the name of Sponsored Person, Sponsorship Application Status - Application received, Permanent Residence Application Status - Application received.
I dont see any other information. what does that mean? i am trying to call CIC now.

one more good news from my side is my online status got changed to the decision mad so happy now waiting for letter it says in status " We sent you a letter on May 11, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us" so hope you all soon here the good news too i do agree with you all , that here we became as family hope everyone received the good news soon and everyone loved ones come soon to Canada


gagidhilon i suggest you to phone CIC and ask them you can’t log in with your ID still there might be problems , you didn’t by mistake check mark on the option for the not showing online status did u ? anything can possible now most of everyone is able to access the online status so maybe there is something wrong with your previous # or it got changed to something . try using different information’s.
like UCI #, Your fee receipts # etcc
