Dear Friends,
I've one updates...:
Friend of mine has received Medical and PCC request EMAIL day before yesterday.
Send his docs to CPP-M in the end of Dec 2011.
There is some confusion. Other two friends of mine have submitted their docs in the first week of Dec 2011, they havenot got this email YET!!!. Strange...? so there is something behind their planning...?
What is the different between these three four files (including mine). I was thinking about dependant part. but comes wrong. Other two friends' parents dont have dependant still they didnt get it.
So, only one thing is common, Two files parents never visited canada, who got medical and PCC request. rest two files' parents have visited canada.
Friends, little long here but thought to share with you as we all are desparate on this topic. thx.

Hi darshanvyas79 - So according to your post, you are interpreting that parents who visited Canada before are getting longer time in getting medical email from CPP-O. On the other side, parents who never visited Canada are getting medical email sooner. In my case, My parents visited Canada 6 times.

Other Sponsors have noticed the same trend about parents visiting Canada and getting email from CPP-O

My forms were computer generated. My parents are from India and visited Canada and USA only. Never been to any other country. PCC is required from India only.

I wish CIC has a two page process outlining work flow clearly and online status was more helpful showing what stage file is sitting at.

That would have been great... My parents are from India, visited Canada only once for about 4 months. May be it depends on number of cases waiting at CHC New Delhi, obviously at the end they have to transfer case to New Delhi.

Hey friends my e-case changed today to decision made for sponsorship but I have not received any mail regarding that. I hope have a good news in it.

Hello All,
Can some one who got pcc and medical email from cpp-o reply to this question please.

Q) Did your application status change after you got the email for pcc and medical? Or it remained same as "Application Received"?

no - it is the same - decision made for sponsorship and application received for permanent residence... nothing has change after medical forms were send...

In my case no changes online.
Shuga, I want to ask you: in the letter CIC ask to bring to medical appointment 2 recent passport size photos, refer to appendix B. Appendix B is PR Card photo. Why they should to bring it to medical exam and to send with PCC?

Here is a link on CIC website. You can keep a tab on all latest bulletins from CIC.

they always ask to bring pictures for medical exams - not sure why... you also need to bring some ID to the medical exam... you don't need to send any additional pictures with police clearance certificate - just give pictures to a DMP when doing medicals...

I don't think so, you can have medicals done at DMPs in Canada itself.
