Hi Guys. I just landed on this forum by luck and there is a wealth of information here. Thanks a Ton to all of you for sharing your info.

I am waiting for PR for my parents

1) 31st Oct 2008 --Applied first time
2) 25 Nov 2011 -- Got a request from CPC-M for additional docs
3) 12th Jan 2012 -- CPC-M received additional docs
4) 17th Feb 2012 Got a letter that my application is complete
5) 1st Mar 2012 -- Got another letter that my case has been forwarded to CPP - Ottawa

I have two questions may be some one can help.
Q1) I have given my email address as well as my parents India's address. Now I am wondering will I get further communication (Regarding medical and PCC) from CPP-Ottwa via email or will my parents get communication via a letter or both?

Q2) When I got the letter (For Additional Docs) in nov 2011 I told my parents to get PCC's and they got it on Dec 12th 2011. But since I haven't heard any thing from CPP-Ottwa regarding PCC's, Should I go ahead and submit PCC before they request. I am not sure if they will be valid for a long time. But the point is that PCC's were obtained after the letter for additional docs which said that you should start working on getting a pcc. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Even though this bulletin is little old, this should shed some light on what CPP-O will be doing till April 2012.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2011/ob305.asp

This bulletin refers to the cases where IAD (Immigration Appeals Division) has made a decision to resume the processing following an Appeal...

Yes I know, just sharing, as that might be the priority for CPP-O till April 2012.
I am just trying to find out reasons why I haven't received email requesting medicals and PCC.

I am hoping that all those who have received a letter mentioning that sponsorship has been approved will have a final decision before the end of this year. Step 2 processing has already started for some (@Shuga)...

Hi,
The e-cas status has changed.
Now there are two columns
First columns has changed to "Decision Made" and before 1st Mar 2012 it was "Application Received"
Second Column still shows Application Received"

Hey, I am writing first time.
I sent doc. to Mississauga on Dec.29, they received Dec. 30.
On Feb. 18 my online status chanhged to decision made. I called and they tald it was sent to local visa office-waiting time 28 month. Next day I received my mail Letter - my file is in Ottawa Pilot. It was Feb. 19.
Today at 2p.m. I received e-mail from CICPILOT for medical exams and police certificates.

I sent out my parents PCC to CPP-O today even though they have not requested yet.

Congratulating for receiving medical email.
My file was transferred to CPP-O on Feb 13, and I haven't heard from them yet. Started to worry. :(

I think there is no need to worry, as a lot of people whose applications were transferred to CPP-O before Tyk_2001, including me, haven't received medical & pcc email. This means once applications lands up on CPP-O there is no queue (or first come first basis). All applications are processed or reviewed and when it's done medical email is sent. We are waiting for initial review to be completed.

Or add to that if they send paper letters instead of email then it will take some time to reach our parents (just a guess)
