I received the GCMS notes, still not done going through all of the 49 pages, but the important things I see is Medicals- Passed, Security checks- Passed. It says for NEXT STEPS: FILE is RFV...any idea what RFV refers to.

Mine was at RFV too but they asked US PCC, back to FCU-STR, also had comments RFV *2 Done

So as we suspected, they haven't stamped it but put "Decision Made"

GOOD NEWS! Got email today from LVO that COPR application approved and papers being sent by registered mail.
Booked flight...hope paper work arrives in the next week or so....
I will send more details when we've got them.

Correct, we are from a Visa exempt country (Europe).

I think it may have been in response to my email enquiry about a month ago. Then they asked for more detailed background info, which we sent right away. Today the email arrived in response to the earlier email chain. ECas still says medicals received and "in process".

thanks. Went through the 49 pages couple of times and don't see any reason for further delay, but also don't see anywhere saying they have stamped visa. I guess its a typical case where they want to hold it for as long as they can till it gets close to medical expiry which is August.
Maybe I should contact MP as well so they can provide a reason for delay.

We're also still waiting.........very little progress at Paris office, seems to be getting slow.

eCAS "in-process" Since March/2013, but have not received medicals yet.

Hopefully LVO can send out medical request soon.

Has processing of parental cases really slowed down everywhere this year?

Hunny007: Dont get worried about this.. THis is the sputuum and smear culture test..It is done to rule out TB.. Your mother would be required to go for the test for 3 continuous days.. The result of this test takes 8 weeks.. So yes an additional waiting time.. My mother had to go through the same sputuum test(They said there was some infection) and Alhumdullilah it was clear, my ecas now show's medical received(Which mean's medical's have been cleared) .. She did her sputuum test on the 30th january, 31st january and 1st february'2013, after that the results were dispatched to the medical section on 1st april '2013(Exactly after 8 weeks).. Some people are required to go for X-Rays after that, if they feel xray is required , otherwise in other cases they donot ask for xrays.. SO donot stress too much about it..

The Xray part depends on the result of the sputuum test.. They may or may not ask for thr xray..We did the tests in karachi..

So I believe they put "Decision Made" on ECAS while the real status is "In-Progress"

Exactly, like I presumed coz its way too long for that and no passport return
But its bizarre that all is complete and yet its in progress, did you contact them?
