HI - does anybody know what will happen once the medicals have expired? They just asked us to send a new police certificate, medicals are still good for a few months, but I am wondering if we have do re-do medicals. Also, even if we get the visa before the medicals expire, would the sponsored person have to have landed before the date the medicals expire?

If god forbid the medical expires, they will ask to do re-medicals.. Yes, the sponsored person has to land before the date on which medical expires..

CPP-O is really quick in issuing visa's.. You should get the visa issued i minimum 2 weeks and maximum 6 weeks time.. Best of Luck ..

Best of luck to you as well. I'll keep you posted. We are from a visa-exempt country, so there is not a lot of information as to what the process would look like after they have made a decision.

You really think so?!!! You have just made my day! Along with the new police certificate (which should arrive within 10 days), my parent will have to submit 2 new pictures. So, that may be the last thing they ask of us? It's such a long haul, full of obstacles, it is hard to believe that there may be an end to this eventually.

Ohh yes ofcourse .. Yes this is the last thing they will ask.. No more hurdles. You should probably hear from them by next month .. I know the whole process have been a never ending wait for all of us.. As the final stages are approaching , the wait looks even longer ..
