I did mine within Canada. Same day we got Medical request, but results were mailed by Doc 7 days later.

Your sister has to apply independently in the future, she won't be able to be sponsored by parent or you, but can you continue parents sponsorship is dependent is refused, I thought it was 1 application - I am not 100% but I remember reading that the whole app gets refused. Can someone confirm? I read a case here but the sister was married and refused DNA test but that might be different

Well, they didn't mention anything like that....it's written that if the explanation is not satisfactory, the decision will be made based on the information in the application.....however, one more thing coming to my mind is, can we make a request to consider the point that we are a nuclear family and since she was fully dependent on my father for all finances....if she is left alone, it will b hard for her to survive alone....

Sonu as it says here
depend substantially on the financial support of a parent and have been continuously enrolled and in attendance as full-time students in a post-secondary institution accredited by the relevant government authority since before the age of 22 (or since marrying or entering into a common-law relationship, if this happened before the age of 22)
So its not only about studying continously but also depending on parents aswell. I am sure you can go with that.

I dont know about that cic does not care at all...i know families where they they had to leave one child behind. But you can consult with lawyer and see what they say. I personally think your better point was the first one regarding her studies, have you talked to any lawyer or you think there is no point?

I have two applications in diffrent stages. One at a final (mediclas received) stage and the another at AOR stage. E-cas status for the first one is not working, whereas it is working for the second one.
Any clue?
