I am also from Kitchener.It was in city Hall before and recently they moved it to Duke building in the Duke street.But if you go to city hall reception, they can also give you the address. But anyways,Duke street is just parallel to the King street.The address is:
32 Duke Street,Kitchener.
You go to Service Ontario office and they will certify it for you without any charges.

Hey susan,

Your sponsorship wont get effected if you apply for super visa.. If your visa office is Ottawa pilot your case should get processed in couple of month,since few 2009 applicants of ottawa office have already received their visa's.. I havent come across any news pertaining to any plans that they goona follow.Since they randomly pick applicants and are not following any strategy.. It's all luckk!! .. So pray that ur case processed soonnn .. I am sure it will.. They have still one more year till they reopen parents sponsorship program.. So dont think they could process all the applications till 2011 by next year..

As i heard within 2 weeks.....Because its hardly 2 weeks since my parents got their meds done nd embassy called to verify....nd hw do DMPs send the medicals I mean regular mail or speed post etc.....

Good day, if somebody would be nice and update our status to visa received, would appreciate it. Passport picked up today. Official email came 22 Nov for passport delivery to the local office. Finaly changing to the green .

they usually courier it. the dmp our family was most familiar with was recently removed by cic from the list but he usually sent it within 2 days.

But it shows last 10 years coming first. Somebody received also?

When we were originally filling out the IMM0008, we put my mom's personal history from the time she turned 18, which was 1965. It is a lot of work and digging the info but it is better to be on a safe side. We had to contact some people to verify her addresses. Luckily, her employment history was easy as in Russia, everyone has a workbook that shows your complete employment history from the 1st day of employment.
So if I were you, I would just fillied everything out going back to your parents' 18s.

I am a permanent resident of Canada and i am planning to invite my parents from India on Visitor visa, they are coming here only for a month so there is no point in applying for a Super Visa for them.
I am wondering if i am inviting my parents, do i need to show my income and savings in Canada to Visa office in new delhi ?
I do understand that my parents do have to show their financial stability in India.

The visa(s) can only be issued by the visa office where the application is in process and cannot be transferred to Canada or any other visa office for visa issuance. As well, Indian law prohibits the sending of passports in and out of the country by mail or courier.

So far, unfortunately, I have not heard of anyone with cases in LVOs (not Ottawa) and parents visiting in Canada who were able to somehow arrange passport submission (for visa 'stamping' ) to Seattle (rather than to home country). If anyone was able to get this done I would love to hear about this (in all examples I encountered, parents ended up going back to submit passports).


I wonder if there is any explicit operational manual prohibiting this...

Two friend of mine sent the passports to Seattle and received them back one on Friday the other one today. I sent my mom's two weeks ago too. Go to any post office they know, just show them the letter with instructions for mailing. Good luck

After how long your friends got passport back from Seattle Office. Today, Seattle office received my parents passports.

Thats exactly what I wrote to CPP-O, inquiring about procedure as this is totally unfair and frankly shocking that they are letting others break the rules? But we will never find out


..and to add salt to the wounds, CPP-O will start to print COPR's on LVOs behalf directly

I got a email from CPP-O on friday to send scanned copy of Right of landing fee. I think may be they are working on my file. I am just wondering if any one on this forum got such a email and know how much time it takes to get a PPR after this?
