now a question, does the letter that they send will come to my email addy? or to my parents address? anyone knows?

I think as per the forum replies, you should be getting a letter in regular mail regarding your "Decision Made" and in that letter it would read where your file is transferred to i.e. either to Ottawa or Local office.

If your file goes to Ottawa then you may get an email if you have provided email address in your form. When you sent your additional docs you should have filled one form which asked for email address (not mandatory) and if you have provided an email address then you will get email at that email address. If you have left the email field blank then I would assume you will get the regular mail... This information is based on everyone's replies in last 30 odd pages.. :D

I hope this helps..

To reduce the burden on local vo, roughly half of the files are processed at Ottawa and half are sent to the local visa offices (not Mississauga). People whose files were sent to Ottawa have noticed a faster response (asking to undergo medicals) than those whose files were sent to the local offices.

The letter about your approval as a sponsor, will come in mail even if you have provided email address. It will be mailed to the address you provided in the forms for correspondence.
About 3-4 weeks after that (if your file was transferred to CPP-O) you should receive request for medical and PCC sent to your email address. This is how it was for me.

Hello Teri,
I noticed your application went to Vienna as well. Any news from the Vienna office as mine was transferred there a little less then a month after yours. Thank you.

I did not fill in my email address while filling out forms. Does that mean that my file will transfer to local office instead of Ottawa office?? Those who got response weather local or Ottawa please share your detail.

I just got the letter in the mail, I'm approved as a sponsor and my application has been forwarded to Paris,
on the letter it says I have chosen to defer the RPRF and I will be contacted at later date for it,
I did misunderstood when they asked for payment and have sent the receipt from 2008 witch by my misunderstanding did not include the RPRF fee , I did pay beginning of this month and faxed and mailed the receipt.

if I try to go in my e status online my UCI does not work yet is that common?

Congratulations... Your eCAS with UCI should work. Make sure you enter all relevant details properly.

Congratulations! Hope your file is processed soon. Keep us updated on its progress.
Receipt: It is possible that when they prepared/sent the letter, your file may not have been updated with the receipt as it was not included in the original docs you had sent in Jan. Hope you mentioned your UCI or File number on the fax you had sent. That should reduce any delays in connecting the fax to your file.
e-cas: Did your UCI work before? If not, try providing your first name as family name. In my case they had mixed up my first name and last name, hence I was unable to access my e-cas status online. I realised this when I mentioned to them that I could not access my status online. For a few days, I used my first name to check the status and it showed up. Subsequently this mistake was rectified and now I am able to access my status using my last name.
