Hi User828,

If you ask me, I believe that CIC uses the date first applied for the order of processing applications. That does not mean first come first served. What it means is that applications are processed in batches. My understanding is that all 2007 applicants must have received visa or in the very last stage of being issued one. From the 2008 applications, those applied in June or before should be in the medical stage. You should fall in this category. What does your GCMS notes say about the Due Date under the Medical category? In my case, it has a Due Date of March 2013. That is when I am expecting my turn for the medicals. I would not recommend making a direct inquiry just because others after you are getting ahead. You could use the information on your GCMS notes and the progress of other applicants and forward it to your MP. You should expect a medical request very soon. If CIC is processing applications, they would process yours too. On the GCMS notes keep an eye on any Due Dates. Thats when you have to worry if you do not receive any communication from them.

Hope that helps.

Sai

Not true, mine is 2007. No dependents, no medical issues. Medical passed in Sep (submitted in June). File in CPC-O.

yes, I 100% think if file in LVO (Delhi), then they look at application date. But not true for CPC-O.

Your file is at CPP-O.
Transfer date plays a big part here
I would suggest you to look at the timeline & compare with others fromCPP-O.
Link is in my signature (at very last of this post)
BTW you can also share your timeline with us so we can addyou aswell. Then its even easier to compare.

P.S. Taking a closer look to the COPR, I noticed a 'Medical file' area, and a 'Monitoring code'.
In French: 'Dossier medical' and 'Code de surveillance'.
My mom's code is 11.
Do you happen to know what does it mean?
In the letter accompanying the PP, I read that codes 2.02 and 2.04 imply an extra monitoring sheet of paper to be sent by the embassy.
Hi Kerria: It means medical surveiilance (for TB and a positive serological test) will be required upon entry to Canada and your mother would need to report to public health authority within 30 or 7 days after the landing. Is there "U" after the codes 2.02 and 2.04? If yes, to report within seven days. Otherwise, 30 days. You will recieve a letter with a visa expalining what to do and when.

I disagree with your statement for LVO (Delhi)... I applied for my mothers sponsorship In Dec 2007 and still nothing but AOR I have received from New Delhi, and others got Medical and Passport request too and some of them got VISA too....

Transfer date to CPP-O? They didn't tell us when was it how do I find it out?

Yes remember when they requested documents from us in march 2012 & gave us 90 days.
And after sending those all documents and forms like IMM0008 etc you should have received a letter which says,"You have met the requirements for eligilbility as a sponsor & your file has been forwarded for further processing".

If you did not get this letter and received medical straight its fine nothing to worry about.

Hi Sana7,
The code was 11, so is not regarding TB and a positive serological test because those have different codes: 2.02 and 2.04.
I tried to look over the internet but I didn't find the meaning of code 11.

It has dye date of 22 March 2013, but is that how it works? Meds are requested close to that date? I am expecting another set of GCMS by December 5 so lets see that says

I would say, If you noticed in your notes that they sent you AOR but you never got it,Its better to at least call CIC-M to confirm your email address and you can ask them to send you a test email.

May be True fo ND LVO.ISB and Singapore LVO are very slow. My file still waiting to start processing, even though I apply 2007 and File was trasfer in Jan2012. So frustration and CIC discriminatory attitue hurt us. Don't see any hope soon.Inquery through MP, Singapore respond more 38 months to go.

Hi cslave,

I'm in same boat as you, I have applied in oct 2007 and my file was transfered in May 2012 and I received nothing from LVO not even AOR. I order GCMS note a month ago and yesterday I got it and I'm very disappointed as I see they didn't even open my case :(

Hi Andrei_T: Yes, my response was to "In the letter accompanying the PP, I read that codes 2.02 and 2.04 imply an extra monitoring sheet of paper to be sent by the embassy." There is a Section 11 could be found on internet but the code should be S1.x or S2.x If it is 1.x - "no surveillance is neccessary." But S2.x means "surveillance is necessary." Perhaps, the code was 1.1? I guess, one needs to have a closer look at the letter recieved. My understanding, however, there would be no letter in the case there is 1.x code. Have you received any letters with your visa?
