The folks you are mentioning who got stamping from Seattle would have got PPR request from Seattle and not from CPP-O. There is a guy on trackitt.com who got PPR by email from Seattle (not CPP-O) and stamping was done by Seattle. The Guys's parents did medical in Canada and were visiting Canada and that is why their PPR came from Seattle. Seattle will not issue PPR, if your parents are in your home country (Other than USA)

No. If your case is in CPP-O, then the PPR will be sent out by CPP-O on behalf of LVO, which means the email is from CPP-O but the under-sign is LVO.

Thanks for letting us know.

TYK2001,

In the google document, you mentioned that first medical request came on June 20,2012. But you listed in your post that its been 6 months since medicals. Its only 3months since medical request came.

Hi Guys,

I made MP inquiry, below is what I got;

The file was approved in February, 2012 (form CPC-M) and a general guideline is that the processing takes 12 months from that date CPP-O received the file, but it can vary from application to application. They are doing the work in Ottawa and their work load has increased with the closing of the Canadian Consulate in Buffalo. The file will be transferred to New Delhi at a later date when they are ready to issue the visas.

I asked my Member of Parliament (MP) office to do status inquiry on the file.

Oh, ok, tks!

One of my friend received finger-printing for his father only. His parents medical is not passed yet and PR application status is 'Application Received'. File is in CPP-O.

I read on this forum that someone received finger-printing (I guess ICJ) after having PR application status changed to 'In-Process'

So, CPP-O can request finger-printing randomly to anyone.
