Hi Friends,

I applied for my mom sponsership in Missisuaga.
I got Parents sponsership approval on August 12th, 2012
Medical request August 15, 2012

I told my mom to get her medical done in New Delhi which she got it done on August 18th, 2012.
She has applied for Police clearance.

My questions:

How much time it takes after medicl and PCC submission for Passport requst these days.
She has done her medical in New delhi. is itok or do we have to inform Missiuaga about this or send some proof.

That was pretty fast between approval and call for medical. Many people have waited weeks and months before being called for medicals. When did you apply? The approved medical officer/doctor should have instructions for where to send medical results i believe.

4. I have ordered CAIPS electronic file on Aug 7. Is it sufficient to know what is going on or should I request physical files?

Reply: Have you ordered Medical files, order e-file as well as physical. My parents medical were recd. on 14th MAy and their status shows medical recd. only on 20th August i.e. after 3 months. Their GCMS notes showed that the CIC officer had asked Delhi office for previous medical results from their last visit for comparison with present result and that took long time.

May I know when was your parents' previous medical? Is it past one year when you guys received MR for their PR application?

If they have British passports they won't be asked to send for stamping. They will get a letter with visa approval then passport will be stamped on landing. We asked our lawyer that specific question as we are in Canada now and didn't want to be without passports for our return to the UK in September . They said that we are not required to submit passports. It may be to do with not needing a visa to visit. Robin Andy on Trackitt.com got the visa for his mother a couple of months ago and she did not have to send her passport.

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes, and thanks nanapush for the information re: British passports. Once I hear more from CIC, I will post the information.

what is your timeline - when did you applied, when was your file transferred ( transferred to which visa office - ND or Ottawa).....pls post time lines

Hi apple_talk, may I confirm, your parent(s) never had medical examination for Super Visa?

they never applied for super visa.
But my mom applied for extension last year, where instead of 6 months, she got 2 years & required to get medicals done.
That medical was also done within Canada from same doctor as the one parents did for this application.

Did you receive a confirmation letter when additional documents were received? This letter confirms that all forms/documents were deemed to be complete and they would begin processing of your application.

Hi Garden Yes i received that letter (AOR) on july 7 2012 but after that...nothing.
Have you heard back anything yet about your file is it back or not yet? Have you tried talking to your MP for help regarding this?
And dependants should be studying in a affiliated University or college until they come here they can take english courses but should not completely rely only on english classes.

just curious so you are the one who is taking care of it now i always thought Rajaji is the one.
or you both are?
And everyone---who is jainrakesh? cuz whoever you are you always fix spreadsheet so well thankyou.
All of you guys are doing great job...i know every few minutes someone vandalizes it and one of you guys are the only one to fix it.
Tip for all members- if you see very few names in the spread sheet (check if filter sign ▼ is showing) third row from top... just click on it all names would show up again. this is the only thing i know ^_^ ..these guys take care of the major problems.
People come and praise our spreadsheet..credit goes to you guys

All credit goes to "jainrakesh", he was the one who created the spreadsheet. Not sure but me & at least able to restore anything changes made, every single change is logged & stored, so we know at what time who changed what?
