My medical results was in London on 17 May.
Wormiest wishes for you and your parents! :)

Teri, CONGRATULATIONS! I can truly imagine the relief you must be feeling! Can't wait to experience the same feeling of receiving such a letter :-)

Hi Teri,
congratulations! We are in a similar situation, it seems. My mom just had her medicals done on May 21st. The visa office is Vienna. I don't know where the medicals were sent - London or Vienna.
I am wondering if the per country quota has an effect on how quickly an application gets processed. We are from northern Europe.

Sent sponsorship application: Feb 2008
Approved sponsorship: March 2012
Medicals done: May 21
Medicals go to London for Vienna office.
If everything is ok with medicals it will be very quickly for you to get the passport request.
The quota has an effect, I think so also.

GUYS . I need very urgent help !!!
yesterday I got a letter asking 4 medical examination request :
my father .mother & I "dependent currently living in Libya & our physician is available , however my younger son resides in ITALY . can we do the exam separately & ask both of our medical physician to send it to PARIS , our visa office & local DMP.....

Libya, I do not know the answer to your question unfortunately (but I do recall someone here inthis thread mentioning that his (or her) mom and dad were in different countries (Canada and home country) and I recall that (s)he was told it was OK for them to undergo medical in their respective countries. But maybe you can contact your local VO and confirm before proceeding.

I also wanted to congratulate you on receiving hte medical request! You are now another example from the local VO who got medical request...
Did they send you anything before that lettter? Any AOR or anythign?

Two times opened the ecas to see is it true.
Now I am happy and feeling the relief.
Wishing you the same!

Thanks, Teri! I hope all goes well for you in the immigration process. It's a big deal and, while not easy, it'll be fantastic to be close to your daughter.
I am hoping my mom's medicals will be processed quickly and do not require follow up. My mom is elderly but does not have any major health concerns. Did you get any feedback from the doctor right away? I am trying to figure out if we need to prepare for follow up questions coming from the London medical review. The doctor who did the exam did not request input from her family doctor or any specialists, just did the standard exam - blood work, urine, x-ray, etc., and wished her "good luck"...
