Hello,

1. Does anybody know what should i put in IMM5768E form Q15? It's said "provide the history...for the LAST THREE consecutive taxation YEARS proceeding your application". I understand it like 2012, 2013 and 2014. But when you start to fill it up you will see from ... to PRESENT. Present is Dec 2015. So it means 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015??? I called to CIC and guy told me he doesn't reply on this kind of questions and i should fill it up on my best knowledge...

2. It's nothing said about photo in the check list. Should i send my mom's pics or not?

If you reply please let me know where did you take your answers from. Thank you a lot!

I also understand as you do and the guide as well as form provide no clue. I think it would be better to provide employment history beginning from 2012 to Dec 2015. In income details in Q16 stick to 2012-2013-2014.

I do not think you need to send your mom's pic as it is not part of the requirement checklist or any of the forms.

I think the same thing. It would be nice to be sure :) But thank you for confirmation of my thoughts. ;)

Hi all member,
I have received email from SVO and they said below:

Dear Sir / Madam,
Thank you for your enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.
Please provide notarized copy of all school diplomas, certificates or degrees and copy of all secondary school and university transcripts for dependent.
Please submit the requested documents within 30 days. We hope this information will be of assistance.
Sincerely,

After that I have sent all education to SVO by email for a week ago. And until now no any news yet. So is it problem or not? Or I must send all education to them by mail?
Please suggest me any idea.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I would think they want to see the originals of the notarized copies. So i would send it by mail. It's what i did when my husband were sponsoring me.

Regards,
Julia

Hi,
I am a small question regarding parents sponsorship. In the income tab it mentions that we need to show CRA tax documents from 2012, 2013 and 2014.
I and my wife have just arrived in Canada this year on PR. Hence we do not have the CRA documents. However, my current salary is more than the value in the table.
Can that work?

What I know is you cannot apply if you do not have 3 previous years income to show that you meet the requirements.

If you landed this year 2015 then you will be able to apply in 2018 (considering rules remain the same) and also will need to meet the income requirements for 2015,2016 & 2017.

Thank you!

So got some news for people waiting for passport return in Islamabad office, my parents got a call from VFS today and they are supposed to pick up there passports on Friday. It is passport for my parents and one dependent. I also submitted my passport as I'm part of the family sponsorship and currently in Canada so submitted to Ottawa and i haven't got my passport yet. So I called CIC (citizenship immigration Canada) yesterday first agent was like you might get the passport after your parents land and they might ask you to do medical again blah blah, i wasn't convinced with his answer so i called again and this time the lady who picked up asked for my case information and confirmed my passport was at Ottawa office and they had everything i was supposed to provide them so that's good but she said they are waiting for a confirmation email from London Visa office as that was our primarily office, so she didn't specifically told me the timeline but assured its in last stage.. so lets see when i get my passport back...
I'm confused cause would they not return me my passport until my parents land (they wish to do it next year February 2016) ??
For people waiting for passports to come back it took us around 4 weeks after the passport request..

Passport request: 19th Nov
Passport Received in Ottawa & Islamabad : 23rd Nov
Passport back from Islamabad : 18th Dec

Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations Desolate......we haven't received any news yet....let us hope hear some news before XMis break

The first agent is stupid and doesn't know what s/he is talking about.
But I would strongly advise that your parents should land ASAP after getting passports/visas to clear the way for your landing.

Why don't you get your MP involved and see if they can check with CPP-Ottawa about an expected time of Visa issuance for you.
Otherwise, once your parents receive their passports, you should send email to CPP-Ottawa, reference the file number, and inform them that the Visas have been issued for parents already, and yours (dependent) should be issued too so that file can be completed.

I wouldn't worry too much unless medical expiry is very soon. But if you got a lot of time then its not an issue

you can always check with VFS, call them and let them know its over a month now since ppts were submitted.
Maybe they can send a reminder to chc to check on passports.
Keep checking online tracking status daily too.

Hope they send them back before the holidays start.
It's ridiculous that they take this long to issue visa/copr in Islamabad.

Thanks canvis and roozirooti.
I emailed CPC-ottawa already that my parents and one of the dependents got there passports back and when can i expect mine.. I got a automatic reply that they will take 20 days to respond due to high volume.... i might get the MP involved if i don't get it by January. My parents deadline to enter Canada is end of march 2016 (according to COPR & visa) and they will enter around end of February next year Insha Allah,
I also had my medical done end of march last year so my deadline should be around that time and gives me enough room to land as a PR.
I just wanted my passport back to see how much was mine if there is any difference so my parents could plan accordingly.

This is why I was saying that your parents (specially PA) should land ASAP, so that you can then have plenty of time to land and become PR.
When the PA delays their landing, it delays the rest also, and it is always best to get it over with quickly.
It you don't hear by January, get MP involved and insist on urgency(due to medicals). Ask to extend medical date if there are delays.
I don't know why CIC is so damn slow, all they have to do is put a visa sticker and print a couple of COPRs on plain paper, which takes forever.

Hi members,
It has been over 6 months since my parents completed their medicals. Hearing nothing from cic and also ecas is still showing in process, any suggestions what I should do. Is there any phone number to call cic to ask the status. I sent a gcms request a week ago. Anything else I can do to get some information on the application. Thanks

-Send a fax or letter inquiry to the visa office, indicate date of meds exam and request for PR visa issuance.
-Inquire through (your) MP right away and ask them to inquire about tentative date for finalization and what's pending.

It's good that you've sent a GCMS request already. The notes should give you an idea about what's happened so far.
Too bad it takes a month to get the month-old notes.
