it depends, sometime LVO london specifically mentioned the department you have to send the documents. the address is as follow:

High Commission of Canada
Immigration Section
Canada House
Trafalgar Square
London SW1Y 5BJ
United Kingdom

they also asked me to send RCMP fingerprints of my mother in law at the same address but they mentioned the dept. which is "Immigration and Medical Services Division"

but if you are sending additional forms/PCC/pp copies then use the above mentioned address NOT "Immigration and Medical Services Division"
In the letter they didn't mentioned address, only said "London" visa office. Right now I only have to sent confirmation of medicals so I believe I'll use above address.

Is RPRF (right of permanent fees) different than the fee paid the first time at the time of the sponsorship application back in 2008 ($475 per person I believe). My parents received email today asking for the RPRF.

no i have yet to send RCMP fingerprints of my mother in law to LVO london, i will receive this week from Pakistan Inshallah and then have to submit to RCMP thorough FP agency here, it will take 5 business days to complete the background check from RCMP and they will then send it to me and i will forward to london. long process!!!!!!!! :)
what about you?
Do they need finger prints for people who were visiting Canada, not the visitors that are in Canada? My mom is in Canada from past 2 yrs. Would I need to send as well?

hi TP
what you paid $475 was for application fees and Landing fees (RPRF) $495 per person when a person gets a landing paper (COPR) to land here in Canada.
thx

yes if she stayed here for 6 or more month then they may or may not ask for RCOMP fingerprint of your mom. you dont have to send upfront but wait for their request.
if you recently order gcms/atip notes it may be mention in there about "RCMP fingerprint"

do you see any notes from VO at the last pages of gcms notes, any special notes?
wait for the case specific enquiry before going to MP, then you can compare the MP and case specific enquiry. going to lawyer is your choice but i wont advise now until you have all the responses.

Hi to everyone,

I seriously need some advise regarding mom's case. She's in the process of doing her medical and because she was diagnose earlier with TB last January 2015,
so she's been on medication for 5 months now.

our LVO is Manila, Philippines. need to mention this because this is very case specific and other members from the Philippines may have some good input and experience similar to our case.

We received medical request from CIC June 9, 2015 and they were just given 30 days to comply.
She went for medical with St. Lukes on June 12, 2015 with my brother and father. Dad and Bro were cleared
while mom of course need to do a lot of testing due to her current medical condition.

She was asked to be backed for sputum test which will be done on June 29, 30, and July 1. that's fine.
but aside from that, they require my mom that her medication should be doctor supervised. St. Lukes have presented two options:
- Option#1: She needs to come to St. Lukes every day and take the medicine infront of a nurse or a Doctor at St. Lukes
- Option#2: She can see a private doctor near her place but will have to report to St. Lukes once every month

Which is fine. We can just choose Option#2 since she lives far (she's from Cavite). but here's the problem - St. Lukes advised us that
if we don't choose Option#1, they have to indicate "refusal to undergo mediation under St. Lukes".
I find this very concerning. it sounds like they were already endorsing a bad case to CIC in that manner.

I would really be interested if anybody from this group (Philippines specific) has the same case? or anybody from this group who chose
option#2? was there a problem with CIC afterwards? does this mean that when you chose option#2 - your case is already dead, I mean application denied?

Please help...your experience is well worth sharing for people like me in this situation. We need to decide before my mom goes for her 3 day sputum test.

Thank you all and goodluck everyone! we will be patiently waiting for your replies.

i am not from Philippine but i gather that in your country medical is not free or two tier system that means private and government. is St. Luke private hospital? if so, there you go, by forcing you for option 1 they off course want to make money from you and wont be able to make money if you choose option 2.
also you can create your own thread/post this question in main forum and not under specific thread so people from Philippine can see and help you

Okay that's good. I request notes last month, and should be getting in about a week time.

Asalaam O Alaikum,

Can someone help me with the details of the fees:

Which fees and how much do I have to pay for sponsor?

When will be a good time of the year to submit the file?

Please advise.
