I received the same generic letter. In our case its only my parents no other dependents. Please help me with additional documents. Do I need to include birth certificate of my parents and also 5th, 8th, 10th certificate for my mother as she is only dependent and it is not clear in the letter.

Please Help...

Can anyone provide some highlights of how to new sponsorship works. I was told by a friend of mine that it is lot harder and only few applications every year... But he didn't know exactly what requirements are.

At present only 5000 applications (per year) are accepted. You can find more information on the page at link noted below:

Unfortunately Islamabad applicants are stuck in waiting line forever.
Good thing about LVO is that it's fully staffed and processing files and not disturbed by any local issues.
Hopefully they can speed up.

We also do not know how many files were transferred to LVO and how many files are still in Isb.
CIC is not so transparent in these things.

CHC-Islamabad deserves to have an internal audit to reveal the issues, the last one they had was more than a decade ago

Some positive thinking, I like that but how do you know about the internal audit done a decade ago?

From past week peoples who r from nov 2009 nd may 2010 on this form hv received medicals ....!!! Even they mom dad or dependents with them .. They all r get same medical rquest by email ...i dont know about uh ...go for gcm notes or other things ..or hv to wait ..bcoz in these case all needs luck .!

Originals. They will be returned to you after application is finalized. Keep Notarized copies with you.

My parents live in Pakistan. I applied for sponsorship of my parents in Oct 2009

Acknowledgement received in Dec 2009
CPC Mississauga requested additional documents and PRC application in Nov 2013 and submitted all documents
Received Email in March 2014 that application is approved and being sent to London High Commission

Ever since did not hear anything from London CHC

Once they move your file to London, how long does it take them to process that. My parents have not received anything yet from them. I was checking the processing times for London, it says 65 months. does it mean that I have to wait another 5 years or so. Please help.

Since I submitted Quebec Selection to Islamabad, I have no answer.

March 06, 2014 emailed to Islamabad immigration inquiry for the status of my application (no response).

July 07, 2014 Contacted MP to inquire about the application.

Ordered GCMS..
Medical is expired. NO news yet.......................


but good news my friend who did sponsor feb 2008 , his parents already landed in july.
I hope soon my application is gonna be finalized also. INSHALLAH.

Thanks Canvis. Do you have the document list that I should fill out?

PCC's can be made within days. Wait until they ask.

Prepare all the updated forms such as IMM0008, Schedule 1, etc and have them ready.

Or,
If you want to be proactive, get new PCC, new photos, new forms, etc all filled up and send them to London office to update file.
Include a detailed letter mentioning what you're submitting for each person being sponsored. Courier it to them and have tracking info as evidence.

Hopefully London will be better than Islamabad with regards to processing and updating files

If not already done so:
Order GCMS notes for file (permanent residence, on behalf of Principal Applicant)... to see current status, any comments, etc

Also order GCMS notes for sponsorship file (for sponsor), to see what assessment they did, comments on file about sponsor's LICO, etc. Gives you a good idea of what file contains and what they did at CPC-Miss.

Hello folks,

Can you guys tell me what documents we need to send to New Delhi for my Mom? My dad is principal applicant and Mom is dependent in application with NO other dependents in the application. In the letter above they have asked for these documents but it is not clear if that is only for dependent child or dependent spouses as well.

I mean why would they need education documents for my Mom?

Also according to their letter, do we need to send Original birth certificate, Current and previous passport copies and voter cards copy for my mom?

I will really appreciate your replies.

mine ecase status change application received to in process on 20 oct 2014,den

we received passport request on 30 oct 2014,,they dispatched mine educational doc on 30 oct same day and i got doc on 4 nov,,

submit pp at vfs on 4 nov,,15 days gone,,but still not get passport back nd ecase status still in process,,

can anyone tel me ,after how many days passport return back nd got decision made
