you filled form 0008ENU Generic for your parents and include dependent. And my question is: Did you fill out form 0008ENU Generic separately 1 more for dependent?
Pleas tell me because I don't clear at this point. Thank you
No you just fill up one form. if you go to the bottom of the form it says add dependent, click on it .how many dependents do you have?

Hi experts,

I have a basic question for which answer may be obvious but I have not been able to find any answer online.

I recently got my PR status and have not yet started living in Canada but planning to move there permanently soon. I have been working in USA for last more than 3 years. I read the minimum financial requirements in term of dollars and that income proof of 3 years is required. My questions are as under:

Does that mean, I need to be living in Canada for at least 3 years and earn my income within Canada before I can file PR sponsorship for my parents or can my foreign (USA) income of last 3 years count as financial requirements proof.
Please advice. Thanks.

Only Canadian sources of income are recognized. So you are going to have to earn the MINI plus %30 for 3 years before you would be eligible as a sponsor.

Yes I knew at the bottom of the form have button add dependent. I have 2 dependents but one dependent as a non-accompanying. Dependent as a non-accompanying should count as family member in the form 0008ENU or not? I filled the form 0008ENU for my mom and include each dependents as well. I heard someone say that who is dependent as accompanying to live with parent need to fill out the form 0008ENU separately for dependent as accompanying, right?

I don't think so you need to fill up separately but don't quote me on this. Call CIC.

You only provide 1 completed IMM 0008 generic form per sponsorship application. The person who fills it is the principal applicant who's name should be mentioned in the letter you received as a sponsor.

hope that helps

Hello Fellow forum members,
Need your guidance.

I am planning to sponsor my parents.
I currently have a spouse application in process for my wife. I am hoping it will be completed only around Feb 2015.

While completing my parent's sponsor application, I noticed a question which read as below :-
"Have you submitted a previous application in respect of which a final decision has not been made for the person being sponsored and their family members "

My Question
Does this mean I cannot submit my parent's sponsorship application until my wife's application is completed ???

My concern is - If I wait for my spouse application to be completed, I may miss the cap for parent's application as only 5000 applications can be submitted during an year

Does anyone know ?
Thanks!

As long as you meet income requirement for all the persons you have already sponsored and to be sponsored, it should not be a problem.
