I have a question for the year of option C

“Submit an original Option C Printout for the tax year that you submitted the original sponsorship application AND an original Option C Printout for the year before you submitted the application. The Option C Printout is required for both tax years.”

this is the request for option C. I submitted the sponsorship application in 2011. So I think I should reqeust CRA to mail me the option C for 2010 and 2011. The question is about 2010 or 2013. Someone told me I should request 2013, not 2010. But the original request is "an original Option C Printout for the year before you SUBMITTED the application". It is "submitted", not "will submit". It is english problem..

Can anyone has the answers?

Guyz i have finally landed and reunite with family sin Canada on 30th august 2014 after 6 years of process so everything went good at airport . It was very quick and easy just few basic question and said welcome to Canada . it is very beautiful feeling here , i wish and pray for Everyone to get reunite with their families very sooon

You just need to send original Option C for the year you submited the application and for the year before it.
So 2010 and 2011 only.

Hi Guys! NEED SOME HELP.

My parents got the visa last month and got the tickets booked, but the only problem is that they are coming via MONTREAL(QUEBEC) which is a 2 hours stay before they get to their final destination 'TORONTO'. My question is whether the landing process will be in Montreal (which is the first entry point in Canada) OR will it take place at their final destination WHICH IS TORONTO. Im quite confused with this.

I think the port of entry for ur parents will be montreal not toronto.

1- Does anyone know how many applications they will be inviting? Any changes in application forms or checklist?
2- I am a Canadian Citizen...but never had my birth certificate from India...I just always used my class tenth certificate and Indian Passport in lieu of birth certificate. My parents even got super visa. It is one of the requirements in the checklist. How to obtain it from Delhi?
3- What is the LICO of 2013? Are they going to change LICO of 2011 and 2012 ?
4- My older son is 20 Years...to add or exclude him while calculating size of family?
5- Can we fill the forms now and get them signed from parents by the end of 2014, so that it is easy to send them quicker to CIC?
6- Do we email the filled forms to parents and obtain their original signatures or scanned papers will be okay?

1) Assuming it will be 5K applications again. None of us know if there will be changes to the forms or checklist. If there are, CIC will likely announce them in late December.
2) I don't know.
3) Yes - you should expect LICO to increase for 2013. This information isn't available at this time. Assume it will be announced sometime in December.
4) Exclude him since he's over 19.
5) Yes - you can certainly do that. However if there are any changes to the forms after your parents have signed you will have to redo them.
6) Original signatures are required.

Thanks for the quick reply. So, it means that I can fill the forms and validate them now and then get them signed from my parents. I thought CIC want us to fill forms in January 2015. What date should I put on forms then?

Agreed. This is consistent with what I did and had no problems with it.

No - that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying it's quite possible CIC will update the forms later this year in which case you'll need to re-do everything.

I also applied in May 2010 and now I have send the requested documents last week.
There is a dependent in my case who was under 22 at the time of submission and I included the educational records for him and also his current education status.

Did u get any confirmation from CIC for the submittied additional dicuments. Pls reply.

Hello,
I submitted my application for Parents sponsorship in July 2010. I received a letter asking me resubmit some of those forms and supporting documents within 90 days in Sep 2014 (letter was dated Jul 30 2014). My parents live in Nepal and the visa office is New Delhi.
My parents have super visa and were planning on coming to Canada for a year in September (in 2 weeks). Is there any way we can select USA visa office as they have US visa as well?

THERE ARE MANY STAGES-
ALU -> FCU-CA Room -> Registry -> FCR-FCU -> SC0XXXX -> FCU-DIS -> FCU-RFV

CA is for Criminal Assessment
FCR means File Check Required (FCR is assigned if there is any doubt on documents. Documents (i.e. travel docs/ certificates etc.) are verified in this stage)
SC0XXXX is the ID of the agent who will do initial review of your file (Example SC01504)
DIS is DecISion making stage and
RFV is Ready For Visa.
FCU could mean Family Class Unit or File Check Unit

so it means they will issue ur visa in a few days. ..I really hope my words are true. ..gud luck
