They have 60 days coz there are 4 ppl

they had not asked for Passport as pp are with us bcz they had returned our pp n all our education documents

Wat was the reports in additional test that held in january abt bye pass?? Means have u read that reports which ws forwarded by physician to cic.?? Ws it normal or not?? Nd one more thing have u ever got medical received status on ur e cas after medical till now????

Then u need not to worry brother. Go fr remedicals with ur pp. If ur worry is that they havnt ask ur pp along wid medicals then its worthless bcoz now a days embassy ask only medicals nd they use to ask fr pp after dat wen ur application is n last stage. Dnt worry evry thng il smooth. Only make sure dat ur father is not having any problem ryt nw nd best of luck fr ur remedicals

This was updated today. Is it standard that it says they will contact concerning this decision.

A decision has been made on (DADS NAME HERE) application. The office will contact (DADS NAME HERE)concerning this decision.


I requested my passport to be returned to parents back in Dec 2013 as my parents live in Middle east. Now since the decision have been made, are they going to send me email asking to submit the passport or do I have to contact them. So far I did not receive any email from consulate. Thank you for your help.....

A decision has been made on (DADS NAME HERE) application. The office will contact (DADS NAME HERE)concerning this decision.


I requested my passport to be returned to parents back in Dec 2013 as my parents live in Middle east. Hii eveyone !!! Done with remedicals ... One thing i want to ask we were without pp so submiited xerox of adar card fr two of us and xerox of PAN card fr my mother but now i noticed on dt card in dob instead 0f 15 5 is written and in fathers name last alphabet is missing. Is there anything serious to call physician back ? But the pic and signature on card are similar as on other documemt pp or others. Plz advice. Thanks.

So the passport is not with them, usually decision made comes when the stamping is done - I am surprised they put that status even before requesting passport. Just wait till docs come back

I was thinking that since it's obvious you will get remeds, its an administrative delay - so why don't go to doc and get it done upfront with UCI - I have noticed with CIC that you don't have to really wait for things which you know are going to be asked - it will eventually land up in due date, someone is going to realize it needs remeds, will make letter and send, and now if they see remeds were done and entered in system, then wouldn't bother wasting time

Just to let you know, we got meds done upfront in Canada - even though the doc said he needs paper, I told him use upfront form and when the actual form came - he sent it with letter to attach to the upfront one

Yes u r ryt user .. Bt i thnk the doctor u cnvinced to do so must be in canada. In india physicians completely refuse dese things without accessing the documents sent frm cic. ..may be u r lucky . there is one thing that did nt get in his case that nw for remedicals why cic have changed their uci accompanying family members??? What u thnk on dis ?? Bcz uci is only single tym issuance identification no...

I'll try and reply to both

UPFRONT Medicals - this is how spouse applicants do it ( not just in Canada but in India too ) , they don't wait for request - simply go to doc, do meds, send application and the doc sends medical. But for "other family" members you have to wait for CIC to give your UCI # and then send you meds request.
Now since you already have UCI and meds were done b4 - you can ask DMP to do meds of all members ( with their respective UCI #'s - if they have ), else under the principal applicant
The form is 1017B but now with edmedicals, doc can just input all the info but it all depends where you are

Vansh - as for changing UCI? I don't know what you mean - you mean all accompanying members had different UCI and now in remeds they are different? it makes no sense OR you saying the Principal Applicant had a UCI and now the dependent have one of their own

a31 - sorry I don't understand your query> passport with medicals - you mean they send passport back or you should ask for passport back for remedicals. I have seen for some, they send back, some they don't
As for bypass, there was 1 user here "Raj Malhotra", ( search this thread ), whose father had bypass and went for meds, then got remeds ( but file was in CPP-O ) and they passed it, landed back in Jan 2013
