i hav got a mail few days ago. cic infrom that the people who are applied on 2009.if you not get any letter during april to may month pls inform us.
hav anyone got same mail from cic,or is it for medical.

Cant say anything without reading letter ??

Ya... They hold all cases for 2 years in canada that time .....for some reasons.....
Allllll cases was on hold ... They dont even touch single.... Then there was strike for six month in delhi... Its almost 7 year for my case... But i hope no one will get that delay waheguru ji saaryan da jaldi jaldi kar den

They will start next year to take more applications ... Coz they r done for this year as 5000 applications.. But complete
Ur application file before jan 2015... Then u can submit ur file without any delay
...... Coz they did lots changes every time.. Good luck make ur income as this year u have still few days ... Coz now they will check back years income .... Not sure but i think 2/3 years.
And time line is just all ur case steps when u submit ur case ... When u got letter for approvel , medical , passport request & all that .

Waiting is so hard, My parents file been in process
since December 2013,
asked us to submit RPRF by feb 27th 2014.
I initially thought it might be 2-4 weeks before they issue visas but its been still in process no change. Can anyone one tell me if someone been through this how long it probably take, their medicals gona expire in May 2014.

Congrats. At least they gave your parents some time to land.

On a side note, were the other flights too expensive, such as Etihad, Turkish, emirates, etc ??

YEs that was generoous of them to give some timel let alone the visa. The other flights were all connecting flights and I wanted my parents to come in a direct flight to reduce the hassle to changig planes or anything. Just this. Good Luck brother.

Standard Question: What is the medical expiry date. Is it the date when the medicals were done (no re-test in our case) or is it the day when CIC received the medicals, ours were sent e-Medicals.
My belief was that it is the day when the medicals were done. But don't know if that is still the case.
