Lay-off income is not considered when checking LICO. Maternity leave does but not lay-off. that's what my accountant told me in 2011.LivingTheDreams said:hello guys, CIC mississauga sent us letter today as they want more documents of income for year 2012 and 2013 so far. They need t4s, pay stubs and stuff before sponsor approval.
I am on lay- off at the moment. Can you guys tell me if my Lay-off will be considered as income while checking Low income cut off (LICO)?
All the ppl who have been approved after sending the additional documents requested did not send anything else but the Option C for 2009 and 2010 as a proof of their income. And there was no problem to approve them without extra hassle. What is different in this case?LivingTheDreams said:Our income from 2009 to 2012 tax year is above the requirement. But we didnt include option c for 2012 taxvyear. May be thats why they asked for income proof of year 2012 and 2013 upto october.
In 2009 income requirement was about 44000 for family of 4 including sposored parents and it jumped to 49,500 in 2010 as we had baby in 2010.
Why? It is taxable and it is considered to be income.samHARVI said:Lay-off income is not considered when checking LICO. Maternity leave does but not lay-off. that's what my accountant told me in 2011.
I know, I think I send option C for 2011, may be either I should have just send for 2009/2010 or all years 2009/2010/2011/2012. Otherwise may be just my bad luck and bad officer out their.Suin said:All the ppl who have been approved after sending the additional documents requested did not send anything else but the Option C for 2009 and 2010 as a proof of their income. Suin said:We did send all the years 2009-2012 Option-Cs and the updated financial evaluation form together with all the paystubs, and T4s at the beginning with the documents request... and they are still working on our file, though they never asked us for any additional info.
Yes, we had some complications with the 2099-2010 income - the income shown in the Option C was not the actual family income due to the self employed income status.YYZguy416 said:Hi Suin,
You sent Option-C for the years of 2009 through 2012 even though they requested Option-C only for the years of 2009 and 2010, correct?
It means that next step will be a decision made or sponsorship approval letter.hammad123455 said:hello what is the step after AOR recived under parents and grand parents in which they say "your file is complete and in queue for processing" what is the next step and how long does it takes for the next step your answers will be highly appreciated
