i hope they have been working on our case too because we got AOR on same date when kandal received on 16 march 2013 and medicals done on 14june and updated on ecas(2july), he applied in april 2008 and we did in may 2008

because of our lawyer he informed us l8r that time sponser(sister) was in delhi to celebrate bdays, and no one dere in canada our representative is from mississauga

Hi Tony, thanks dear so they don't care about original letter? i guess i 'll scan aswell my ecas shows APPLICATION RECEIVED.

I dont think you have to send the original letter unless they have specifically asked for it. my understanding is that sending them copy of the letter is fine.

Hii guys i am still confused regarding that letter either to send original or scan it. The thing is it says clearly in capital letters that
, "PLEASE RETURN THIS FORM WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS" also it has officer's signature on it. It's only one page letter. I m gonna post this letter tomorrow but the problem is it will reach India on 12 of sep and then my family will post it to Delhi so is that another 10 days? And the due date is 21 sep
I decided to scan and email it but im not sure after seeing original signatures. ???

Can someone or user tell me if my family should use regular mail or speed post or whatever else to send this letter and voter's id to Delhi from Punjab?

Doesn't matter, scan copy is OK - I did it twice
All this does is reaches the mailing dept, and is filed with the pape rfile. It doesn't matter if the letter was original, all it matter is that content asked for is delivered
Think about this way, most people like to take copies, imagine if you lost the original - would it matter if you send the copy? no - its simply the same as the original

Hi Kandel,

I think you should do both, Send a scanned copy and mail the original also to India. So in case if original will not reach on time so at least they will be having scanned one to sent.

And i think speed post is better idea, Coz speed post take 2,3 days max to reach Delhi from Punjab and you can track that too.
