Hello everyone,

Eligibility letter, PCC, Biometric, Pre arrival letter, Medical request. All is done.

Its been a week now for a medical and 3 weeks for a biometric, but still not updated in IRCC account.

How long does it take to get passport request after medical?

Just one quick question - Do you see any update on the P2 Portal after receiving the eCOPR? Did IRCC also update the address in canada and the PR card photo along with eCOPR?

June 3rd - submitted
July 15th - ADR; submitted the same day
Sept 14th - AOR
Sept 21st - Meds Approved (My parents had med done in Canada in 2023)
Oct 4th - PCC request
Nov 11th - PCC submitted
Dec 12th - Informed IRCC about Dad's Passing Away ; IRCC requested more docs same day
Jan 02nd - docs submitted to make my Mom as the primary applicant
Jan 9th - New Application number Assigned with my Mom as Primary applicant
Jan 15th - biometric requested
Jan 16th - biometric submitted
Jan 20th - IRCC asked for a registered Death Certificate of my father; waiting for it now from Service Canada
Jan 22nd - sponsor Approved and file move to Mississauga
Jan 24th - Medical Passed
Mar 5th - Death Certificate Submitted
March 24 - Pre-Arrival Letter
May 16th - P1 email received and responded.
June 24 - P2 email

Just one quick question - Do you see any update on the P2 Portal after receiving the eCOPR? Did IRCC also update the address in canada and the PR card photo along with eCOPR?

Thanks. They just added a section to download ECOPR. Photo and address still showing pending review. I heard it doesn't usually change until PR card is received and application is closed. Looks like photo and address status doesn't mean anything significant.

Hi all,

yesterday got the biometric request for my parents. But when looked at the attached pdf, it has the all the things right in the address at top except the country; instead of Bangladesh they put India. Rest of the document and details are also good. Should I ask my parents to go ahead with this letter and give the biometrics and in parallel notify IRCC to update the address or notify and get a new one with corrected address? Not sure how long thats going to take !!!

Any thoughts.

Correct! Go ahead and submit bio-metrics with the current letter and submit a webform asking IRCC to correct the address on file

Yes I got two. With document request I ment to say that when one occurs essentially your application becomes paused until they are submitted and reviewed. It is good sign if it does not occur but if it does it’s important to not miss it.

Based on your July 8 submission, you are on a good timeline. I have seen a trend where people who submitted earlier are getting processed first and soon I think early July applicants will start seeing progress.
