Hi all
did any one got biometrics fee payment notice ?
I got invite on May 27 and submitted my application on June 1, 2024
Received email for more documents on Sep 17 and today got email to pay biometrics fee and the email clearly said donot mak appointment yet which they will let me know. They just asked to make the payment.
I made payment today but Is anyone in similar boat ?
Do you know what will be the next steps. should i go ahead and make biometrics appointment ?

Got a letter today that says the following even though we provided birth certificates for the applicant and the sponsor. What is the issue and what do we send back?

Or does this mean that we need to provide the ORIGINAL birth certificate? how do we do that, mail it in? And who is it for, the sponsor or the applicant?

Your application does not meet the requirements for processing as the following item(s)
is/are missing or incomplete:

• Proof of Relationship (SPR): Provide your original birth certificate issued by the
Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA) and printed on PSA paper. If this cannot be
provided then submit your baptismal certificate, hospital birth record, permanent school
record and birth certificate issued by the local civil registrar. NOTE: The documents you
provide must be legally registered with the PSA and be clearly legible.

Is the Birth certificate legible? I think that’s what IRCC stressed on this email.

Yes they have visitor visa valid and traveled 2 years back as well. But not after that till date.

I don't know what the next step for you. But for most of people who paid biometrics fee in advance didn't get any biometrics request. Everyone is getting Aor and pcc request at the moment.

I received my confirmation of my application was received via mail but had additional document request via email. I tried to search for email inbox could not find the AOR email. I have since linked this to my IRCC account via the mailed AOR and can see the UCI and application number.
Should I still contact the IRCC why email was not issued for the AOR?

let me know if anyone also received the AOR via mail and not email

To those who have a hard time linking their application to their GCKey account, here is what the IRCC customer service told me in linking the application:

1. Make sure that the Last Name is CAPITALIZED.

2. On the part where you put the number of family members, put the NUMBER of ADULTS in the box (if spouse DIDN’t co-sign, EXCLUDE them). On my application: I have 3 kids, my wife as a co-signer, my self, and my mom (dad deceased). This was where I messed up as I kept putting 6 as the number. It should just be “3”.

I finally linked my mom’s application and able to see the progress.

this was very helpful, additionally like to add, inorder to link to my ircc account I used the application number on AOR and the passport of the principal to get it to link after multiple failed attempts.

Hi everyone. I received an email saying my application to sponsor my mother has been rejected due to missing document. I had received a request on Sept 10 to submit additional documents, which I provided, but I forgot to attach IMM5406 which was also requested. A very heavy stupid mistake - since they do not send letter again for missing documents, I directly got a rejection for this reason and the status of my application changed to 'returned'.

Would my application of interest in sponsorship still remain in the pool? Wondering if I have chance of getting an invitation again when there-open ITA next time. I have sent a web form query but haven't heard back from them, and haven't been able to get hold of an agent on phone.

Yeah I have submitted the missing form in a web form. Yet to hear from them.

I received the acknowledgement of receipt via Canada post mail, it stated that its been received at the case processing centre. The application number was the same as when they requested addtional documents expect the it had letter X in front and in the AOR X was removed, xf...... and aor f.....

How did you obtain the application number? or you provided UCI to link
