@hims0912 Can you please share where did you apply for deadline extension with CIC? Webform?

Thank you again,
just an update if it helps someone in same situation: i had submitted the PCC status screenshots from Consulate website along with a request to grant me an extension for PCC submission last week, i got a response from IRCC yesterday that they have extended the deadline for PCC for 60 days (so now instead of March 23rd i have until May). meanwhile the PCC request is progressing now and i should be able to get it within couple of weeks hopefully.

Hi All

My parents PGP-2024 application is under process. PCC given, Biometrics done in January 2025 and Medical Updated from Supervisa (Jan 2020) on Feb 4 2025, Sponsor Eligibility and Pre-arrival services letter received

Actually my parents are in Canada since 2020 on Supervisa got extension for 2 years in 2022 and applied and got 1 year extension this time valid till Nov 2025

I received visitor record forms few weeks ago in mail

Do I need to webform visitor record forms to IRCC? or they would have that info?

Any suggestions
No need to notify about their attempt to extend their visit again.

sure, i ended up applying via webform under their document upload category ("Update or ask about your application" and then within that there is "Add a document to your application") because i had to share the screenshots from BLS and passport seva website and the passport seva email etc. The actual request including reason for delay etc. i had put it in the section within webform:
"Tell us about your request"

Hi everyone,

Quick qn - how are you getting PCC, Biometric or Medical requests? Is it through your PR Residence Online Portal where you submitted the original application/ via email/ via postal letter?

Trying to figure out so I don't miss anything. Submitted Aug 2. No ADR/ AOR/ or any update.

Thanks!

We received the PCC and the first additional document request through email. PCC was part of the AOR letter.

After the AOR when we were given the final application number starting with Fxxxxxx we were able to link the application to IRCC secure portal (GCKey Login). The Biometric and Medical requests came through GCkey, not emails. we also used to same GCkey portal to upload for the second document request.

We never used the initial residence online portal where we initially used to submit the application.

For PGP2024? That would be incredibly fast processing.
Do you know what was the 'average' time between Medical and Passport Request for PGP2023? I know it's different case by case but any idea roughly how fast they were processing last year?

There is no average processing and would expect slower processing than last year. Also not uncommon to have to repeat medicals again. Would plan for around 3 years of processing and be happy if it is completely faster.

Hey everyone... old time forum user here. I am back here after almost a decade for my parents' PGP application. My dates are in my signature below. One oddity with my application was that the AOR/PCC Request was sent to my Canadian address (not to my parent's in their home country) by CanadaPost. It got stuck in the big strike, and I got it about a month later. I have submitted my parents' PCC by email... and now I am waiting.

Any idea on what's next? I am reading that people are getting medical requests etc and I am feeling a bit nervous.

P.S. I was able to link my GC Key account a day after emailing my PCC. It has the generic "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you" message. I am not able to check my application status on CAS.

I guess you should let them know the reason for the delay in submitting PCC

I was wondering why your PCC was sent by mail, while mine was in the email.

Thank you for the detailed clarification. Please confirm - ADR, AOR (including PCC), was sent to the parents’ registered email and not the sponsor’s email.
Also, if someone were not/ unable to link application to IRCC secure portal - wonder what the method was for Biometric/ Medical requests.
Finally, the initial residence online portal where we submitted the original application - still shows status as submitted from Aug/24 for me, as there has been no movement on my parents’ file. Wonder what it shows in other cases where progress has been made.

Thanks again!
