My parents file was submitted on July 28/2024 and I got ADR request on Jan 03 asking to resubmit imm5678 and imm5669 within 30 days.
Letter says imm5669 must be printed and signed by hand before submitting it.

I am aware that Imm5678 required hand signature.
However, I just downloaded imm5669 and it says to type your full name in the box at bottom to sign it electronically ....I am not sure if I just type my parents name or have them sign by hand? They are back home so it would be bit difficult for signing by hand.
just typing their name as form suggest would be sufice?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

So if I already got an additional doc request does that mean I’ve been accepted as part of the 2025 Que? Or not guaranteed until I get the AOR?
Date of application or AOR doesn’t guarantee processing order. Lots of things that impact processing. First 15k approved in 2025 will get PR but that can include applications from 2022, 2023 and 2024. Part of the reason there is a pause is to clear the backlog not add to it which is why the 2nd draw in 12 months made no sense.

I feel like I repeat this frequently but if you got selected people should just be happy no matter how long processing takes.

What if there is a request for additional docs? Some people haven’t heard anything yet from IRCC. Does that mean I might have a chance for being processed this year?

Other than potentially longer processing there are no changes to IRCC processing of current applications.

Nationality of PGP applicants have not impact on processing. EI maternity payments count towards LICO always have but yes you must still meet LICO while on parental leave.

I think ADR doesnt mean its in the que , its just that they opened the application. I believe AOR is what matters and also now saying 15K for 2025 will it be first come first serve kind?.
Rest of the eligible will go to 2026 , its very unclear.
No indication that after 15k quota in 2025 the IRCC and PCs won’t keep processing for years in an attempt to clear the backlog.

I heard from someone (I could be wrong) that the temp number is just the real number with the “xf” added behind it. I have the same timeline as yours. ADR received Nov 27 and docs submitted Dec 12.

this is the wording on the ADR letter
“When you submit your documentation, please ensure that this letter is also included. All
documents submitted must be in English or French or accompanied by a certified translation. If
your application meets the requirements for processing, it will then enter the processing queue
based on the receiving date that it was determined to be complete”

I bet they still send out AORs BUT don’t process it until 2026 if the 15,000 cap is met for 2025
They keep processing but when they hit the quota they put on hold COPRs until the next year. Likely will be a lot of COPRs for PGP in January 2026 held over from 2025. This is not uncommon for many PR pathways.

IRCC said they would accept 20,500 complete applications before this announcement came out today. Now they are saying they will process 15,000 in 2025. I’m trying to determine if someone already got ADR they will be processed this year or not
They will get processed but unlikely to get COPR in 2025 which was always unlikely. Most will finish processing in 2026, 2027 or 2028.

last statement is so so true, I am just grateful that after almost a decade got picked up this year so now just got to be patient, it’s a way better situation than ppl who still waiting for invite.

Is there any way to calculate if my application will be part of the 15000 or is it all dependant on external factors?
If you applied in the 2nd half of 2024 you are unlikely going to be part of the 15k quota for 2025 processing but it was never guaranteed to be completed in 2025 even without the quota. There are so many factors that go into length of processing and there are multiple years of PGP applications (around 40k as of September 2024) who started processing before your application. Nobody can guarantee when any PGP application will receive COPR. All you can do is respond to IRCC request and go through the processing knowing it may take years. Realistically people need to plan for 3+ years of processing and be happy if it comes a bit faster. PGP is a net drain on Canada thus was never a huge processing priority but even less so now which is why the lower quotas. Goal is to slowly get through the backlog of applications a little bit every year.
