No nothing of that at all. He lives in Karachi, Pakistan never been a part of any org or any activity. Perhaps having very common name could be the reason. I also connected with few other people whose parents are from Pakistan also subject to comprehensive security checks fl as someone who has been flagged.

Sorry that is frustrating. Agree that is could be as simple as having the same name and some other similarities like home location, birth year, etc.

May I please ask for the link that you're referring to? Change or update your contact information is this the form you're referring to? I ask this because it says if you're outside US & Canada, contact the immigration officer in your region. How would I know what region is dealing with Pakistani files? Change my address – Immigration and citizenship - Canada.ca please advise. thank you.

I used the first link. I also noticed that the 1st and 2nd link you have referenced both lead to the same page, so I'd just go with that. After you submit the info, you'll get a "do not reply" email acknowledging the change. Hope that helps!

Hello all, I need some help - My mom did her medical in the US as well as a follow up 2 months later. Its now been 2 months since the follow up and she has been asked for another follow up. My mom is now back in India, and I will have to use a doctor in Mumbai.

Has anyone been in this situation before? Will there be issues because I will be using 2 doctors? Do I need to get her previous Immigration docs transferred to the new doctor? I am freaking out right now because I am not sure what to do.

It is possible to do her additional medicals in another city/country. Depending on the situation and why additional medicals were required it may be a good idea to transfer the previous results to the new MD. If not possible to transfer the new MD may have to repeat some of the tests already done.

Do you know if they will grant an extension? I just called my mom to tell her about the new tests needed and she told me she is going to have cataract surgery this weekend and she told me she wont be able to travel for another 6 weeks after the surgery because of doc appointments for follow of this surgery.

Will CIC grant an extension? Do i call the regular line or should I ask my MP for help?
