Does it really slow down my PGP application if I just pay the application fee and not the RPRF (right of permanent residence fee)?
I need to pay it in 2 parts (for financial reasons) Can I just submit the application withotu the RRRF now and pay the RRRF say in January?

After following the required steps to see if you need to pay pr exempt. Your parents should be exempt. My parents biometrics are also valid until 2029 and got exempted

I believe you DO NEED to pay the biometric fee.

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum and was wondering about the procedure to sponsor parents to Canada. I have been reading online and it seems like you need to be invited throguh a draw to apply for the sponsorship. But I was wondering how do we get into that draw? Is there a form that needs to filled out or something?
It looks like they are still working on backlog from 2020. So people have been waiting since 2021 just to submit the interest to sponsor form for the draw?
Any help is appreciated.

Yes, most likely IRCC will announce another draw next year or in 2025. You need to wait for that. You just need to fill up a simple interest to sponsor form to participate in the draw process.

On the financial document section, what do you do if you held multiple jobs in that year? How do you. Calculate the amount earned in that year.

Hi All, I got invitation for my parents and I submitted the application on Dec 02. In IMM0008 form, I included my dad(primary applicant) and mom (dependent applicant). I didn't include my brother because his age was over 22years and not financially dependent on my parents (not accompanying with my parents). I didn't include because I thought he does not come under "Dependent" children. I realized now that I have to include his name under IMM0008. How do I inform cic and add his information?

No. You don't need to include his name in IMM0008. You only need to mention him in the additional family information forms under your dad and mom.

For IMM 5768 Financial eveluation for parents and grandparents, can i sign it electronically just by typing my name or do i need to take a print out and sign it and upload it?

I understand that the primary sponsor (me) needs to upload their birth certificate to show proof of relationship (I am sponsoring my mother). I do not have a birth certificate and whenever I have been asked one, I have usually provided by Grade 10th Marksheet from India that clearly has mother's name as the evidence. I have also used my passport as another evidence. My question is if these proofs would be acceptable now, or are they very particular about the birth certificate itself (which may not be possible to be re-issued now) ?

For that year, use Total Income amount from your Notice of Assessment

Use what you have always used and include an explanation in a letter of explanation.
