you HAVE to include BOTH parents in the same application. So they CANNOT apply separately.
You CANNOT apply only for your Mom.

Not sure what you mean. It is a lottery so only those in the 2020 pool can be selected. Unfortunately some people get selected the first year, some wait many years and some are never selected.

I heard the first two letter or number is kind of basket. The combination is 0123456789ABCDEF, and second could be letter or number. if no CC got invitation, that means it doesn't process "C with letter" basket yet. I saw start with 1, 5, 6, 7, A, E, F got invited

Wait ! did you mean the invite will be in order ? like 1 will be first to invite and 9 will be last ??? I thought it is gonna be completely random. I am new to this.

I have received an invitation to apply for my parents PR. My Dad is a bit sick and not sure if he will pass the medical exam. Considering this, can I apply separately for my Mom & Dad OR it has to be one application

It has to be one application with both of them listed. Even if your father is non-accompanying, he must still pass the medical in order for your mother to be approved for PR.

As others have said, no, not possible. Your father must be included in your mother's application and must take and pass the medical.

Very interesting. Even people starting with 9 and 8 got invited. My husband starts with F and he got invited this year. Mine starts with 3, still waiting!!!!

7 years waiting, Still not get the invitation.
Only one good thing, my parents use supervisa status to stay with me right now, since last year IRCC allow they can stay up to 5 years. Atleast I no need seperate with my parents.

Super visa is a good option. Problem with it though is the lack of good medical options if stuff happens.

Insurance sucks to cover pre-existing conditions. Getting PR is so much more better from that angle.

Agree! The insurance sucks so bad. We got a coverage which covered my moms diabetic condition and the funny part is they told us they will cover only one claim and not another one!!!!

my confirmation number starts with 28.. i probably am the first few who sent interest to sponsor.. i feel i should have waited and then submitted after a few days.. don't know if my interest to sponsor is lost.... anyway, has anyone with confirmation number starting from 2 been invited ?
