Hi All,

I have one question:

I received a sponsorship invitation form for parents and grandparents from IRCC. While our family income over the past two years meets the requirements, we fell short by about $6000 in one of those years. Can I still eligible to submit my sponsorship application for my parents?

Which year do you mean when you said you missed by about $6000 in one of those years? $6000 is a lot.
To sponsor for 2023, you need income for 2022, 2021 and 2020. If you are good for 2022 and 2021, then may be they will let you get away by counting your 2023 when you can provide an upate NOA. I saw one case in the discussion. But it's not a normal way the income requirement is processed.

I have a question for those who submitted their parent's passports to VFS India. The passport request letter is addressed only to the Applicant. So, when submitting the passport, should I just include the dependant's passport along with the applicant? Do I need to include anything specific like another consent form specifically for the Dependant?

yes same letter applies to all the applicants but everyone needs to sign their own VFS consent form.

Medical exam: passed 18 Aug as a Supervisa holder
File transferred to Montreal from Missisauga
Created Portal and submitted info: 08 Sep 2023

Hi PGP 2022 members.
I have received the invitation to apply for permanent residency of my parents under the PGP 2023(parents and grandparents program). Unfortunately my father hasn't received the passport yet.
Is it possible to submit an application without a passport? Will it be refused if I submit without my father's passport? I will submit once my father will get passport. Tomorrow is the last day to submit the application.
I thought this forum is old so members might have knowledge regarding this situation.
