I have a question for those who submitted their parent's passports to VFS India. The passport request letter is addressed only to the Applicant. So, when submitting the passport, should I just include the dependant's passport along with the applicant? Do I need to include anything specific like another consent form specifically for the Dependant?

yes same letter applies to all the applicants but everyone needs to sign their own VFS consent form.

File transferred to Montreal from Missisauga

Hi PGP 2022 members.
I have received the invitation to apply for permanent residency of my parents under the PGP 2023(parents and grandparents program). Unfortunately my father hasn't received the passport yet.
Is it possible to submit an application without a passport? Will it be refused if I submit without my father's passport? I will submit once my father will get passport. Tomorrow is the last day to submit the application.
I thought this forum is old so members might have knowledge regarding this situation.

I got the email with this subject "IRCC - Permanent Residence Portal (PR Confirmation)", which asked for the information related to my mother's (applicant) email, UCI etc, on Dec 19. I forwarded that email to my mother's email (as per instructions in the document in email), and then replied to CIC email account with the information which was requested right on same day.

But we still haven't received the credential for logging into the PR confirmation portal. I thought we get this email within a day or 2.

Can anyone please let me know what the expected number of days after which we can expect to get the credential in applicant's email.

I am in the same boat. I read few places it can take couple of months before you get login credentials. It all depends on visa officer.
